Tatyana Ali Admits to Bizarre ‘Crying’ Ritual to Lose Weight

If you wanted to know weird things about Tatyana Ali now’s your chance. The ‘Fresh Price of Bel Air’ alum admits to crying a few times a day to reduce belly bloating, that she dates more than just White guys and that she’s all about one-night stands.

Awesome.

Ms. Ali did an interview with Huffington post and admitted all sorts of anecdotes one might not expect from the pint-sized woman so many remember as Ashley Banks. But, it wasn’t all crazy one-night stand talk. Tatyana revealed the single piece of advice that her super famous one-time co-star Will Smith gave her. Her on-screen big brother told her  ’Never be afraid to be on your own. It can mean that your path is only up to you, and the possibilities are wide open. Anything can happen.’ Ali said she has applied that advice not only to her career in acting, but in her dating and love life as well.

In other news, Tatyana did admit to the bizarre ritual of crying to reduce bloating, but her exercise regimen doesn’t consist of that in its entirety. However, the 5 foot, 4 inch beauty did take some time off from exercise while studying at Harvard. (And really, who wouldn’t?) Once she began dabbling back into the acting world, she realized that she had a little work to do in order to reclaim the size 4 that she was used to.

‘Django Unchained’ Slave Action Figures Pulled Before the Oscars

“Django Unchained” action figures representing characters from the movie have been pulled after boycotts and protests insisted the dolls were making a mockery out of slavery.
The new Quentin Tarantino film was controversial enough as some audience members didn’t appreciate the comical way that slavery was being portrayed in the film.
To make matters worse, someone decided that the only way to make a slavery film even better is to create slave action figures.
The Django figures were immediately met with boycotts and protests as nobody could see the humor behind a slave doll or a plantation owner doll.
After becoming the latest hot topic all across the nation, talk show hosts and Twitter users couldn’t stop talking about the figures.
“It’s bad enough black barbie never had a glamorous job,” one person tweeted. “so now we just make her a slave?”
Another user shared the same sentiments by writing, “Django was a good movie but the dolls is too far.”
It was clear that some people wouldn’t be open to the odd idea and surprisingly Wendy Williams found a way to put things in perspective which helped explain why the dolls were rubbing the African American community the wrong way.
She revealed that if anyone dared to make a doll out of another race’s hardships it would be unacceptable and that making slave dolls was simply “disgusting.”
“A bunch of slaves, look at them,” Wendy Williams said before flashing a picture of the boxed slaves for her viewers to see. “This is so disgusting, it’s comical. I don’t know anybody who would buy these or want these.”
At first it seemed like some audience members weren’t grasping why she was so disgusted until she brought up the Holocaust.
“As a black person I’m extremely insulted by this,” she continued. “The Jewish community would never have you make Holocaust dolls based on ‘Schindler’s List,’ never.”
Suddenly the audience was filled with cheering and applause before Williams made a request that was soon after answered.
“Maybe we can get those dolls pulled off the shelves because it’s disgusted,” she concluded.
Enough people agreed with the outspoken talk show host and with the help of others who were completely disgusted by the idea the Django figures were pulled.
“Selling this doll is highly offensive to our ancestors and the African American community,” Rev. K.W. Tulloss told the Daily News. “The movie is for adults, but these are action figures that appeal to children. We don’t want other individuals to utilize them for their entertainment, to make a mockery of slavery.”
Tarantino is also getting some serious backlash for bashing “Roots” and claiming that his film is a better depiction of slavery.
“When you look at ‘Roots,’ nothing about it rings true in storytelling and none of the performances ring true for me either,” Tarantino said. “I didn’t see it when it first came on, but when I did I couldn’t get over how oversimplified they made everything about that time. It didn’t move me because it claimed to be something it wasn’t.”
Talent manager and filmmaker Bethann Hardison claimed that this is nothing new for Tarantino to make a fool of himself, but he does have the right to say what he wants.
“Talented as he is, being a fool has never escaped,” Hardison said. “He often says the wrong thing out of his mouth, needing a filter and crosses the line… but it’s freedom of expression. I don’t want to be censored so why should he be?”
Freedom of expression is one thing, but slave dolls is another and the Django dolls have been pulled for good.
Some believe the Django dolls were pulled in time for the Oscars simply to give the film a better chance at earning some major awards. If the dolls remained on shelves it is believed that there would have been entirely way too much controversy for the movie to then become a Best Picture at the Oscars.
Production has been halted with only 1,000 Django Unchained figures being produced.

Michelle Obama Joins Beyonce, Kim Kardashian With New Bang Look

Michelle Obama’s new hair style makes her the latest fashionista to change up her look with some chic bangs after Beyonce and Kim Kardashian also revealed their new cuts. The First Lady debuted the new banged hair do via Twitter on Michelle’s birthday.
You probably wouldn’t think the First Lady, Beyonce, and Kimmy K all have something in common but ever since Michelle Obama changed her hair up it seems like the ladies all have similar styles when it comes to their hair.
The First Lady’s full and thick hair was given a little more shape and definition around her face with the band cutting just across her eyeline level – proving that Mrs. Obama’s fashion sense extends beyond just picking out some lovely dresses.
The pic of Michelle’s new hair hit Twitter on Thursday after someone snapped a photo of her meeting at the White House with one of the eight citizens named co-chairs of President Obama’s inauguration.
During her last public appearance – when she was spotted returning from Hawaii – her hair was being held back away from her face making it unclear if she had already cut the bangs or not.
Of course, the big debut will happen when she helps kick off a variety of inaugural festivities for the president.
At a time when it seemed like bangs weren’t much of a fashion statement anymore, Beyonce and Kim K seemed to put the simple look back into the spotlight.
Fans were split almost 50/50 when Beyonce revealed her banged look at a Nets game at the Barclays Center back in November.
Bangs aren’t necessarily breaking news, but it was certainly interesting to see how even Queen Bey’s fans couldn’t make up their minds on how the felt about the new tresses.
While some people loved the blunt bangs that cut across the songstress’s eyebrows, others weren’t feeling it as much as her big curly locks.
Others liked the straight look, but wished she would have kept the bangs just a bit longer and brought it down to match her eyeline level like Michelle Obama’s hair.
More recently, the banged cut made headlines again when the most famous Kardashian tried the look on with a fake hair piece before committing to snipping her hair.
There really isn’t much that the reality star can do that doesn’t make headlines these days, but this was the first time she removed something fake and opted for the real deal (because we’re not buying that Kanye’s boo hasn’t had work done. Anyway, Kimmy opted for a sideswept bang look rather than the blunt cut that Bey went with, and Michelle Obama added a bit of fringe to her new bangs.
We personally think all the ladies look fabulous with the new looks – although Mrs. Carter has already changed her do (or weave rather) several times since the straight bang look.
Along with a new hair do, it seems like the First Lady also gave herself the gift of a new Twitter for her 49th birthday on Thursday.
Her new Twitter handle is FLOTUS – the commonly used acronym for First Lady of the United States – and it’s the account she used to show off her bangs on her b-day.
If you were thinking the First Lady celebrated turning 49 with nothing but a new Twitter page and a hair cut you’re wrong.
The fashion forward First Lady celebrated her birthday with close friends at Café Milano in Georgetown for more than three hours.
The White House didn’t provide many details about the birthday outing, but they did reveal that the Democratic National Committee will take over Mrs. Obama’s former Twitter page @MichelleObama.
While her FLOTUS page will have more personal photos and chronicle some of her day to day activities and work with organizations, she won’t always be the one tweeting them.
Tweets sent by the first lady will feature her initials “M.O” at the end of the tweet, while others without the signature will still be about her but just not necessarily from her.
It’s a new year and Mrs. Obama is bringing it in with new hair, a new twitter, and a new term in office along side President Obama.
What a way to start off 2013.

Mariah Carey: Slumming on American Idol?

(Opinion) “This is what I deal with when I come into my ‘job’ every day,” said Mariah Carey on last night’s installment of American Idol, with the most positively sardonic eye roll a diva could muster.
Fellow judge Nicki Minaj had angered Carey, turning down Chicago contestant Stephanie Schimel for copying the rapper’s cartoonish purple eye shadow.  However, it wasn’t Minaj who seemed most ridiculous in this instance. The way Carey referred to her $18 million per season “job” was packed with loathing, a hatred of the mundane, and general resentment.
Serving as a judge on American Idol is a coveted platform for many musicians, due to the increased visibility it gives their own work and image. However, for Carey, it is  strangely like flipping burgers—an unsavory  vocation rather than a profession.
The way Carey phrased the retort, compounded with her later comment that Idol was her first “real” job (she is 42), begs the question of how she landed on the talent competition in the first place.
All jokes aside, Mariah Carey is the best selling female artist of all time, having sold over 200 million records in her twenty-year career. Carey’s 1990s fusion of rap and R&B, exemplified best in 1995’s “Fantasy” featuring ODB was not merely innovative, but downright revolutionary.
Before Carey, R&B princesses didn’t collaborate with bad boy rappers. Now the “diva/thug” duet, as it has been affectionately  monikered, is the new norm. Mere weeks ago, even the most mainstream of pop artists–Britney Spears—enlisted Wil.i.am for a boost on “Scream and Shout.”
Carey’s dizzying string of success included the Puffy collaboration “Honey,” Jay-Z duet “Heartbreaker,” and most recently, the R&B  jammer “We Belong Together.” At her peak, Carey blended R&B vocals, rap beats, and pop trends like no other, until a few years ago.  Starting with 2009’s pop ditty “Obsessed,” Carey strayed a bit too far from her R&B roots, putting out singles that attempted to please radio, rather than direct it.
So, like Jennifer Lopez before her, she accepted American Idol’s offer, albeit with a bit more reluctance. What Carey hopes to do with the platform is unclear, as she has yet to announce new music for 2013.
As long as tear soaked Idol wannabes keep prostrating themselves before her, she will never feel the pressure to get back in touch with what put her on such a pedestal: talent, coupled with immense creativity and innovation.
If Idol premiere week has demonstrated one thing, it is that Season 12 will be about Mariah Carey, and contestants will have to battle her ego to merely get a note in edgewise.
When a contestant sang  Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You”, she delightedly replied “It sure was! It still is darling” to an eye roll from Minaj.  As if we needed reminding, Carey’s diva delusion rivals no one. “You’re having a lavender moment I really like” she said to a contestant wearing a purple turban, before requesting something from producers for her “parched” mouth.
Ironically, it is her ego that is forcing her to sit on the judges panel, as her notorious diva behavior, head-tilting marriage to Nick Cannon, and birth of twins Moroccan (named for the decor of a room in Carey’s Tribeca penthouse) and Monroe have made any of her recent musical efforts seem unfocused at best.
So, for now, bickering with Nicki Minaj is Carey’s new game,  where she can ruffle her bedazzled diva feathers, but also distract America from pondering how Mariah Carey ended up with this “job” in the first place.

Tamar Braxton Stands Out with “Love and War” Video

As any fan of Vh1′s “Braxton Family Values” knows,  the Braxton family is full of musical talent and competition. However, baby of the family, Tamar, is now stepping out of Toni’s shadow with the video for her first single, “Love and War.”
“Love and War” is a sweeping ballad that shows off Tamar’s strong vocals. Her voice isn’t quite as rich as sister Toni’s, but still very powerful and clear.  Tamar called the video concept “sexy and vulnerable” to Hip Hollywood.
The video is black and white, with dramatic shots of Tamar and a hunky costar at a Hollywood mansion.
Many are surprised she chose a ballad, having threatened to put out a “thug” anthem on the show. Braxton admits, “I really did want to put out “Hot Suga” but “Love & War” is really necessary to my life, personally. Only because I’ve been in love before, had my feelings hurt before, but I never experienced passion until I met Vince. I’ve never argued or fought before with somebody so much and we love each other so much.”
Tamar is married to Vincent Herbert, who discovered Lady Gaga. For Tamar, a big part of “Love and War” was taking charge, after the disappointing sales of her first album. “I do believe my first album had great material, and I think a lot of people identified with it because it sounded exactly like Toni Braxton,” she admits.
On “Love and War,” Tamar was forced to reevaluate her sound. “I was fighting then. I think that’s a part of growing as an artist. You kinda have to put a lot of pressure and blame on yourself because at the end of the day you are the artist. It’s a job for someone else. But it’s your career.”
“Love and War” is now sitting at the top of the iTunes Soul Songs chart, a happy milestone for Tamar. In her interview with Hip Hollywood, Braxton revealed a shifting focus from reality TV, “it’s [now] about singing and people appreciating my music.”

Jennifer Lopez Wants an Oscar – Talks Babies with Boyfriend Casper

Jennifer Lopez wants an Oscar. Just let that sink in for a moment. The star of such ‘classics’ as ‘Gigli’ and ‘Enough’ wants to be honored with the highest achievement in acting and ranked among such greats as Meryl Strep, Helen Mirren, Halle Berry, etc. Most would say that she has a long way to go. Most would be right.
In a recently interview with an E! correspondent, Lopez admitted that she would love to be among those to win a prestigious Academy Award. “I think everybody that has ever taken acting seriously would love to be recognized in that way,” she commented. “Of course! Why not?”
In her next movie ‘Parker’, JLo plays a real estate agent alongside Jason Statham. While it might be an entertaining movie, it’s doubtful this will be the one that wins her an Academy Award. Still, Jenny from the block has written her acceptance speech, just in case the fateful day ever arrives. Of her acceptance speech she said, “It changes every so often over the years.”
We’re so sure.
Speaking of what JLo wants, in addition to an Academy Award, the 43-year old actress has mentioned that she would love to have more children. No word on whether or not her current boyfriend, choreographer Casper Smart, is the one who might help make that happen.
Of the relationship, Lopez has admitted that she is sometimes apprehensive about her beloved’s motives. Jennifer said, “I ask him, ‘Why don’t you go find a young girlfriend and get out of here? What do you want with me?’ And you think, ‘How long is this gone be?’ You think, ‘OK, in 10 years I’m going to be like this and you’re going to be like that’ and… men at that age are… I think all different things. The truth is we don’t know what’s going to happen. We’re loving this moment right now.”
It’s great that she’s realistic about what the age difference in their relationship might mean for them down the line. However, if Jennifer really wants that Oscar then she needs to get realistic about her acting and focus more on her career and less on her most recent relationship.

Kim Kardashian on Beyonce Feud, Baby Name, Keeping Things Private

While the country has been guessing what Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will name their baby, Kim has been on rumor control addressing the Beyonce feud, and Kanye’s beef with Kris.
Kimmy K who’s currently on baby bump watch is usually always willing to spill the beans about her personal life since that is the only thing keeping her famous and wealthy (and beautiful), but things are starting to change now that she has a baby on the way.
After turning down a $3 million baby photo offer the curvaceous mom-to-be is also remaining hush about any possible baby names.
“We’re not sure yet,” the pregnant Kardashian said before adding that her and Kanye will “have to think about” keeping the “K” name tradition going. “I have to discuss that with my boyfriend to see where we are. But we’ll keep the name private, I think, whenever we decide.”
Of course, that’s just what she’s saying now. We’ll see if she still remains mum about things once the huge money offers start pouring in.
The reality star insists, however, that she is turning over a new leaf and doesn’t want her career (if that’s what you want to call it) to overshadow her love for her family.
If she really didn’t want cameras to interfere with her family and love life, however, she probably wouldn’t have broadcasted her entire wedding to Kris Humphries – to whom she is still married.
Either way, she just wants the world to know that things are different for her now.
“I feel like I have divulged so much in the past,” Kanye’s boo explained. “Not that that was wrong, but I just choose to be a little more private this time around just for me and my family. I like to keep all that stuff about why it’s so perfect and why it works and all that just between us.”
The star is expected to be welcoming her baby some time in July and hopes that her divorce from Kris will actually be finalized by then.
Meanwhile, as usual the middle Kardashian sister is busy telling the world that every single thing they hear about her is dead wrong.
So this week she is battling the Beyonce feud rumors and the rumors suggesting her boyfriend is beefing with her mom.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star claimed that she was never feuding with Beyonce and in fact they have a pretty good relationship.
“It’s so not true,” she said as she sat down with Sway on “Sway in the Morning.” “I have no idea where these things come from… I think they like to make up these feuds. It’s more interesting.”
According to Kimmy, Bey hasn’t even brought up the feud rumors and for Kim that’s a sure sign that there is no drama between the ladies.
“We’ve never even talked about it,” she continued. “It doesn’t even come up in conversation, probably because they get so many ridiculous stories brought to them every day with things that are true and not true and vice-versa. That stuff just doesn’t even come up, even with my family it doesn’t come up.”
While the pair haven’t been seen being too buddy buddy lately, they were photographed together several times when the rumors first emerged.
Back in June of last year they were photographed together at a Watch the Throne tour stop while both of their men rocked the stage. A few days later they were seen again with their men at the BET Awards, but we should point out that they weren’t actually sitting together. Kim was next to Kanye and Bey was next to Jay-Z – both men being in the middle while the ladies sat on the edge.
Earlier this month, Yeezy posted a photo to Instagram with Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Kim all together along with the hashtag #FAM. Once again we feel the need to point something out.
Although the four were all together it seems to be the same photo from the BET Awards due to Bey rocking the big wavy curls rather than her sleek bang look she’s been going for lately.
So Kim hasn’t completely dispelled the Beyonce feud rumors yet, but we have a feeling she’ll still be working on it.
Meanwhile, she also claims that Kanye and Kris absolutely adore each other and that there is no tension between them.
“And then there’s this whole crazy story out there like my mom is pimping out the baby and Kanye and her are beefing,” she continued. “They love each other so much…it’s so crazy that people make up these things.”
Whatever you say Kim, but at the end of the day everyone knows that Kris and Kanye do have a tendency to want to be in control. With two control freaks wanting control of the same thing – in this case Kim – you’re bound to have some tension somewhere along the lines.

Destiny’s Child Michelle Williams Opens Up About Depression

Michelle Williams finally revealed her struggle with depression as she prepares for her latest role on Broadway, an upcoming studio album, and a Destiny’s Child reunion.
Michelle may be busy flashing her gorgeous grin now, but she revealed that some days getting out of bad was a challenge for her.
The singer-songwriter had fame and fortune at a young age with the R&B trio Destiny’s Child, but even she revealed a world of struggles that sent her into a deep depression.
“I’ve dealt with depression,” said the 32-year-old songstress. “I had to choose to get out of bed and do whatever I needed to do to be happy.”
The cloud of depression has been following the gospel singer for quite some time, and she also revealed that she just recently escaped from it a few months ago.
When she was around the age of 15 or 16, Williams opened up about being bullied and other hardships in her life that sent her spiraling into depression.
It was her first time battling such emotional turmoil, but she managed to recovery without the aid of any medication. She did, however, have others help her through her journey and hopes that speaking up about her own depression will encourage others to reach out for help as well.
“We’re taught, ‘Just go to church and pray about it. The Lord is going to heal you.’ Well, in the meantime, I believe God-gifted people, physicians, doctors, therapists – that’s your healing,” Michelle explained. “Take advantage of it. Go see a professional so that they can assess you. It’s OK if you’re going through something. Depression is not OK, but it is OK to go get help.”
Through the help of professionals, friends and family Williams has emerged happily on the other side of her struggled with depression and now has exciting things in her future.
She is currently rehearsing for her latest Broadway show which is a biography activist Fela Anikulapo Kuti who died in 1997.
Michelle’s battle with depression proves that even a huge celebrity like her isn’t so different from the rest of us and that’s something she frequently finds herself reminding people of.
With years of success under her belt, she doesn’t find herself to be any greater than those around her.
In the rehearsal room for the Kuti biography play, she was busy hugging and interacting with all of her fellow cast members in a plain tank top and sweat pants.
“I come from Rockford, Ill. – there’s no divas there,” the Destiny’s Child member said.
The R&B crooner has provided a special element to the play where she will take on the role of Fela’s lover Sandra Isadore.
The tour director, Maija Garcia, felt as if the Destiny’s Child member actually “empowers the musical.”
“Sandra is our key for an American audience to look at Fela and understand a bit more where Fela may have been coming from,” Garcia explained. “And an American audience can very much identify with Michelle Williams because she’s of our time. She really becomes a vehicle for people to learn about Fela and for people to understand why Fela is relevant in the United States.”
Michelle and the rest of the cast will start the 16-city tour at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington D.C. on Jan. 29 – a special date for the singer/actress.
On that same day Destiny’s Child will release “Love Songs,” featuring some of their best hits from back in the day in addition to one new song title “Nuclear” that Michelle helped write.
“We were like ‘We still sound good together.’” Michelle said of her, Beyonce, and Kelly Rowland when they recorded their first song as a group together in many years. “Duh! The bond will never die. We’re always going to be close.”
Speaking of Beyonce, Williams seemed to hold back some information when she was asked about joining Queen Bey on stage for her half-time performance.
“Who knows? We make sure not to go too long without doing something,” she said. Perhaps Feb. 3 will be the day the ladies reunite together on the same stage for the first time in several years? If so, everyone is working hard to keep it a big secret.
For now, however, the down-to-earth songstress did open up about what her real intentions are for her music.
While she found it to be cliché, she admitted that all she really wants to do is inspire others through her story which she tells in her music.
“Sometimes you’re going to wake up on the wrong side of the bed or some situation might have you down in the dumps, but you have to choose to be happy,” she said. “I’m choosing life. And I’m hoping this album makes people want to choose life.”

Britney Spears Bidding War Ignites Between Vegas Hotels

A bidding war for Britney Spears may give the singer solace that she’s still in demand after announcing her breakup with former manager Jason Trawick. News surfaced of a possible stint in Vegas soon after Spears revealed she’s quitting X Factor – after only one season.
According to Yahoo the bidding war may leave Spears $100 million richer,

It has been claimed the American singer is gearing up to sign a $100 million deal which would see her perform regular shows in Sin City.
Originally, it was believed she would ink a contract with one of the Caesars Entertainment Corporation’s venues, which famously owns the Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino.
According to TMZ, Britney has actually been approached by two establishments owned by the company with another unrelated venue also vying for her time.

Time will tell which mega hotel & casino will book Spears. When the deal is complete the singer will reportedly be expected to perform 5-days a week and make additional appearances on the grounds. Not surprisingly, there are concerns over the singer’s well-being.

There has been some concern about whether she would be able to keep up with the rigors of a Las Vegas residency, after she was slammed for being bland on the TV program. The star is also still the subject of a court-ordered conservatorship following her 2008 meltdown, leading to fears she might not be mentally fit enough for such a demanding agreement.

She and SB and friends hit BOA Steakhouse last night as Nicki gears up for tonight's big premiere of "American Idol" Season 12. 
Her pre-taped interview with Ellen also aired yesterday.
Nicki complained about the "long" work hours --because she's not used to working for 8-10 hours a day--on the "Idol" set. Guess she thought someone was supposed to just hand her several million dollars to do the face making and voice changing for an hour or so on a stage like usual. She also talked about why the feud between her and Mariah began, and the shade she felt from day 1.
She also said she's not ready for the live tapings because she doesn't trust her mouth. "I don't want everybody to think I'm a crazy psycho."

Megan Fox Backtracks on Lindsay Lohan Slam

Actress Megan Fox (Transformers) made headlines earlier this week for a comment she made about perennial tabloid headliner Lindsay Lohan.
“She was sort of like Lindsay. She was an actress who wasn’t reliable, who almost wasn’t insurable. … She had all the potential in the world, and it was squandered,” she said to Esquire. “I’m not interested in following in those footsteps.”
As the comment leaked the day Lohan was due back in court for a probation violation after losing ace attorney Shawn Chapman Holley, Fox’s comment certainly came off a bit harsh.
Now Fox is coming forward to somewhat apologize and clarify her remark.
“[T]here is a reference that is made to Lindsay Lohan that I would like to clarify before it snowballs into something silly… I attempted to draw parallels between Lindsay and Marilyn in order to illustrate my point that while Marilyn may be an icon now, sadly she was not respected and taken seriously while she was still living. Both women were gifted actresses, whose natural talent was lost amongst the chaos and incessant media scrutiny surrounding their lifestyles and their difficulties adhering to studio schedules etc.”
While she did apologize, Fox isn’t backing down on her comment about Lohan’s punctuality and difficulty with studio timetables. However, at this point, Lohan’s trouble adhering to a schedule is no longer an insult, but just plain fact–a truth any Los Angeles judge or director could attest to.
Fox ends her apology on a more heartfelt note, “It was most definitely not my intention to criticize or degrade Lindsay.I would never want her to feel bullied, as she does not deserve that… this miscommunication is my fault.”
In her interview with Esquire, Fox did touch on bullying in addition to the Lohan jab. Fox  said she believes people have a misconception about the pervasiveness of bullying for figures in the industry. “What people don’t realize is that fame, whatever your worst experience in high school, when you were being bullied by those ten kids in high school, fame is that, but on a global scale, where you’re being bullied by millions of people constantly,” she said.
Lohan has yet to publicly respond to the article or Fox’s apology.

Meagan Good Talks Marriage, Eyebrow Tattoos on ‘Wendy’

Meagan Good sat down with Wendy Williams to dish about hyperventilating during her husband’s proposal, and how her perfectly groomed eyebrows are actually tattoos.
Megan Good has become one of TV’s hottest actresses after she landed her latest role on NBC’s “Deception” which means she’s the new topic of interest for every daytime talk show.
Even before her new found TV stardom, however, fans have been busy googling her – particularly her eyebrows.
Good has been known for having perfectly groomed eyebrows and Wendy wanted to know how she managed to keep up the perfectly look day after day. It wasn’t long before she revealed the secret was that she didn’t really have eyebrows at all, just some really nice tattoo work.
Now before anyone rushes to get eyebrow tattoos, Meagan also explained that she didn’t have much of a choice when it came to tattooing her eyebrows on.
“I actually don’t have to do anything [to them] now because I tattooed them,” she told Wendy. “I tattooed them 6 years ago. The area I grew up in, there were a lot of Spanish girls and they used to shave their eyebrows off to draw them on. When I started doing that, they didn’t grow back. So I had to tattoo them on.”
In addition to becoming a new TV actress, it was only last year that the ‘Think Like a Man” actress became a wife as well.
Meagan Good’s wedding was a little larger than she wanted it to be but since she and husband DeVon Franklin have so many friends and family there was no way to make the ceremony any smaller.
“We had 200 people,” she said. “It was more people than I wanted to have but we have a lot of family so…”
She also revealed that DeVon’s proposal was so shocking that she almost didn’t get married simply because she could barely pay attention to what he was saying at a certain point.
“…When he went to go get the box, I didn’t know what he was doing and when he brought the box out, I was like, ‘What is that?’ Then he started talking, and I was hearing what he was saying, and then I was like, ‘OMG! He’s proposing,’” she explained, being careful to keep personal details out so her and her husband could still have their own personal memories. “I didn’t know what to do so I started hyperventilating and he said, ‘I can tell you are not hearing anything that I am saying at this point so I’m just going to ask you ‘Will you marry me?’”
The lovely couple met on the set of Christian film six years before they tied the knot and they were reunited once again when DeVon executive produced Jumping The Broom.
While she is obviously head over heels in love, she admits that things feel awkward because of the one man she seems to always be falling in love with – well in movies anyway.
Good often finds herself being Laz Alonso’s love interest and she revealed that he is actually very good friends with her husband.
“This is my third project with Laz Alonso,” she said. “My husband is really good friends with Laz so [the love scenes] are kind of weird because it’s like kissing your brother. There’s a mutual respect between both of them though.”
The “Stomp the Yard” actress also admitted she refused to give her husband the goods until she had a ring on her finger. Lucky for her, however, her husband was on the same page perhaps even longer than she was.
Meagan has been celibate for a few months while they started dating, but her husband had been celibate for years.
A mutual friend of there’s asked the actress “you know he’s celibate right?” and after Good replied that she was celibate as well, the friend reinforced DeVon’s dedication by saying “like for real celibate.”
She didn’t have to wait long to restrain from sex though because it was just a matter of months later that the two were happily married.
Meanwhile, the young actress also opened up about her new show revealing she is happy to see women of color in the lead for once.
“I can’t ignore the fact that there were no shows for so long with women of color in the lead,” she explained.
She also pointed out that the shows success has nothing to do with race at all and that is glad to just be part of a really good show.
“Deception is a really good, well-written show,” she continued. “That’s the key with both [Deception and Scandal]: being part of something that is real quality. That’s what any actress wants, no matter what color.”

Single No More – Kandi Burruss is Engaged to Boyfriend Todd Tucker

Kandi Burruss is engaged to music producer boyfriend Todd Tucker. He went big with the 2-carat Gregg Ruth diamond ring. Kandi said she was “totally surprised” by the proposal but anyone watching ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ this season knows that it was only a matter of time before Tucker proposed. The happy couple recently bought a home together in the suburbs of Atlanta and although Todd said he wanted to take it slow, viewers (like me) could certainly infer that he would propose any day now.
We wonder if Kenya Moore will be among the first to congratulate Kandi or if she is secretly at home sulking and sticking pins in a Walter voodoo doll. After all, as we’ve seen on the show, any time someone else gets engaged or married the former Ms. U.S.A. manages to talk about how it ‘should have been her’. And once again…it’s not.
Todd surprised his future wife-to-be with a proposal on New Year’s Day during a get-together at the couple’s home. Kandi said she was “totally surprised”…”I used to make jokes with my friends that I [was] part of the Forever Single Club. That’s what I said before, but now I’m totally different.”
Hmm…there’s an opening for someone else to join the Forever Single Club and I hear Kenya’s available. A match made in heaven, right?
Digressing…
In a touching and gentlemanly move, Todd made sure to consult with Kandi’s 10-year old daughter Riley before he popped the question. Of course, Riley gave her blessing. ‘Atlanta Housewives’ fans have seen the 10-year old fiercely protect her mother this season and with good reason. Kandi was engaged to the late Ashley “AJ” Jewell before he was murdered in an altercation outside of a club a few years ago. Audiences saw how devastated Kandi and her daughter were over the loss.
However, it seems as though the pair have bounced back nicely with Todd in their lives and the family is moving forward.
No date has been set for the nuptials, but the pair does have a few in mind. Also, the happy couple is unsure if they will allow their wedding to be filmed for ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ show. Until then, Todd and Kandi are happily enjoying their new engagement and figuring out the details as they go.

Vanessa and Kobe Bryant Step Out Together After Calling off Divorce

Vanessa and Kobe Bryant aren’t just a good looking couple; the pair is charitable too. The mission of the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation is to end childhood homelessness in Los Angeles. Last year, the family’s foundation partnered with another organization, My Friend’s Place, in order to bring awareness to the cause.
But, it doesn’t stop there. Kobe was recently named the honorary chair of HomeWalk in Los Angeles last November, and the Laker superstar has spent a night on the infamous Skid Row and had a film crew document his experience for a special YouTube mini-series.
Talk about commitment to the cause.
On Monday, the power couple was joined by former President Bill Clinton to commemorate a new Hollywood housing project entitled Step Up on Vine. Vanessa shared her meeting with President Clinton with her Instagram followers, posting a photo with the caption: “Tonight Kobe and I joined former President Clinton as we celebrated the grand opening of Step Up on Vine, a permanent supportive housing project in Hollywood as a part of our commitment to end youth homelessness through the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation. KVBFF.org #KVBFF”
It hasn’t been all work and no play for the couple since Vanessa officially withdrew her petition for divorce. Kobe and his wife were spotted at the Warner Bros. Golden Globes after party. Smiling and seeming pretty happy to have worked out their differences, Vanessa confirmed their reconciliation on her Instagram account saying, “We are pleased to announce that we have reconciled. Our divorce action has been dismissed. We are looking forward to our future together.”
Even the usually quite Kobe took to social media to express his happiness over their reconciliation. “I am happy to say that Vanessa and I are moving on with our lives together as a family,” Bryant posted. “When the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with. Thank you all for your support and prayers!”
Another congratulations to a happy couple is in order. Hopefully these two have learned something through their trials and Vanessa can stay away from filing from divorce once again.

American Idol Anticipates Big Season 12 Premiere with Carey, Minaj

Tonight, American Idol will kick off its 12th season with a two-night premiere and a revamped judges panel. New judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, and Keith Urban will join Idol veteran Randy Jackson.
The new superstar lineup did not come cheap, costing the program $36 million in combined paychecks. A large chunk of that went to Carey, who is rumored to have gotten $18 million. However, Fox executives think the expensive shakeup will have a ratings payoff.
“I think it’s actually a renewal [of Idol] every couple of years, and what you’re seeing now is this panel has reinvigorated the show,” said Mike Darnell, Fox president of alternative entertainment.
This season has been attracting media buzz since the audition tapings last summer, due to a reported feud between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj.
Partial footage of the fight leaked online last fall, adding credence to rumors of tension between the two.  The video was captured during auditions held in Charlotte, North Carolina. According to sources, Nicki and Mariah disagreed over a contestant’s performance and the former lost her cool with a shaken Keith Urban caught in the middle.
“I’m gonna knock you out!” said the “Super Bass” rapper directly to Carey.  She then turned her attention to producers and her threats alluded to trouble in the past.
“I told them, I’m not f*ckin’ putting up with her f*ckin’ highness over there,” spat Minaj.
Yet, apparently tensions have now cooled between the two–at least until the live shows start later this Spring. The rap star admitted to Ellen DeGeneres that she regretted behaving in such an over the top way. “I don’t know if she’s gotten over it but I have,” said Minaj.
For now, the judges are putting on a united face for the premiere. At a promo event last week, they commented on the amount of talented female singers in this season’s lineup.
“There are some talented boys, but I must say, I think the girls could really win one,” Jackson predicts. “We haven’t had a girl winner in so long.” Some of the most famous female winners include Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.
Minaj concurs on the amount of female talent. “The girls are exceptional. I mean, a girl will definitely win this year, I think,” she says.
The season 12 premiere of American Idol will begin at 8 PM on Fox.  Ryan Seacrest will again serve as host.

Nicki Minaj Isn’t a ‘Crazy Psycho’ – Puts Feud with Mariah to Rest

In the war between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, the colorful diva doesn’t want the public at large to think she’s a crazy psycho. It might too late for that, but I digress. The pair of ‘American Idol’ judges have been in the media lately for feuds that have included alleged death threats, the mention of guns and beefed up security measures.
All this and the show hasn’t even started airing. Maybe all the publicity will help the sagging ratings.
Anyhow, Nicki Minaj stopped by the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ to discuss the upcoming American Idol season and inevitably, talk turned to her war of words with the multi-Grammy winning award artist Carey. Nicki explained to Ellen the nature of their altercation. “I was just like sitting there. And I guess before I went in there I heard all the stuff that was being said but I didn’t believe it. I heard them saying Mariah doesn’t want you on the panel but I was like, no. I am friends with Mariah.”
Once the ‘Starships’ singer got into the room do to the ‘American Idol’ panel and felt some ‘shade’ from Mariah, that is when all hell broke loose according to Minaj. “I went there and I started to feel a bit of the shade. And I just kind of over compensated by being crazier…” Nicki explained.
Taking her explanation one step further, Minaj continued: “If you know someone maybe doesn’t like you. It’s kind of like, now you’re gonna like really go in and show hey, because it’s like a defense mechanism. You know what I mean? It’s really that. You’re feelings are hurt and you can’t believe it so you kind of just compensate with being crazy.”
The rap star turned pop star admitted to Ellen that she regretted behaving in such an over the top way. “I don’t know if she’s gotten over it but I have,”…
“I mean, I’m over there cracking up laughing, having fun and if she’s still holding a grudge. I don’t know. Like I don’t care.”
The rapper with the many voices might not care if Mariah still holds a grudge, but for the sake of the show, she might want to figure it out before the panel goes live. Nicki followed up her comments to Ellen saying that she was a bit apprehensive about the ‘American Idol’ live panel because she was unsure of how she would react if someone said “something slick” about her or to her.
“Just like if there’s a slick comment being made, I just want it to go well. It’s about the contestants. We have a lot of great talent, and I don’t want anyone on the panel to say something too crazy because then I don’t want to look like a crazy psycho again. I am not really a crazy psycho, you guys.”
Oh.

Jessica Simpson Returns To TV With New NBC Reality Show?

Jessica Simpson is making a big return to TV and although the show will be based on the reality of her life, the new show will actually be a scripted sitcom pilot for NBC.
Apparently the star’s life is so hectic and crazy that she along with some other execs think it would make the perfect scripted sitcom.
“I often find myself thinking that no one could ever make up the things that actually happen in m life – so between the real-life elements and a great team of writers, I think we’ll have people laughing,” the soon-to-be mother of two told the Hollywood Reporter.
The funny gal will be partnering with Electus, who also produced her Fashion Star reality competition show, and NBC to create the pilot that they hope will be picked up for a series.
The good news is, Simpson isn’t the only one who thinks she has comedic talent to make a hit sitcom.
The founder and chairman of Electus, Ben Silverman, claimed that Jessica is “truly a modern-day Lucy with incredible comedic chops.”
“We are thrilled to team up with the multitalented Jessica Simpson to bring the new sitcom to life on NBC,” Silverman said of the “modern-day Lucy.” “From running a fashion empire to wrangling her public image as a new mom, we see Jessica’s character approach a variety of ‘everyday’ circumstances that will get audiences laughing out loud.”
We’re not sure if the sitcom’s main character will be expecting a second child or confused over the difference between chicken and tuna, but all parties are hoping that this sitcom pilot will definitely have better results than Simpson’s first attempt at a sitcom.
In 2004, the ABC pilot called “Jessica” would have starred the Fashion Star mentor as a pop star trying to make the transition to being a TV news anchor.
While a reality show is currently not in the works for the pop star and fashion mogul, it might be a better deal for her.
Being pregnancy with her second child and her engagement to former football star Eric Johnson would probably make for some pretty interesting television – not to mention the fact that most women will be obsessed with Jessica losing weight after her second pregnancy anyway.
Of course, Jessica’s baby bump photo was already overshadowed by the pregnant Kim Kardashian once, she probably doesn’t want to compete with her in the reality TV realm as well.
Don’t think that Simpson is a stranger to the small screens, however.
The blonde bombshell starred in the TV show “Til Death” and is of course a mentor on “Fashion Star.”
As for the big screen, Johnson’s wife starred in “Paul Blart: Mall Cop” and “Zookeeper.”

Kim Kardashian Hides Growing Baby Bump, Reveals Infertility Issues

If the Kim Kardashian baby bump has finally appeared, she’s certainly doing a great job at hiding it behind her chic maternity wear. Meanwhile, Kim revealed that her own infertility issues had her thinking she would never get pregnant.
Ever since Kim’s pregnancy news broke, the world has been waiting to see what is soon to be Hollywood’s most infamous baby bump.
Despite the lack of a true baby bump poking through any of her clothes yet, the Kim Kardashian baby bump and pre-baby fashion watch has officially begun.
It’s likely that the soon-to-be mommy isn’t even showing yet, but she has all the tabloids thinking she is ever since she ditched her usual tight fitting outfits for loose fitting maternity frocks.
On Monday, the usual cleavage revealing, leg showing, skin tight dress wearing reality star was caught at the JFK Airport in New York with a dark layered outfit that kept her completely covered up – preventing any cameras from snapping any sure sign of the baby bump.
According to E! News, however, Kanye’s baby mama showed off her growing bump for them.
“Kanye West’s love showed off her tiny baby bump on Sunday,” they reported claiming she rocked a “curve-hugging white dress.”
Celebrity stylists are wishing that Kim would embrace the bump in public too, instead of hiding it from the camera.
“Having a baby is one of the most amazing things you’ll ever do, so flaunt it,” said stylist Estee Stanley as he encouraged Kimmy to stick to her form fitting gowns.
If she does decide to stay with the maternity look, however, Stanley still had some fashion advice for the reality star.
“If you want to be a bit more covered up, look for a great one piece or a pretty tunic for a laid-back vacation vibe,” Stanley added.
In the past week or so, loose fitting outfits that completely hide the star’s figure have been the typical looks for Kim’s wardrobe – but she did add something new to keep things interesting.
The famous reality star tried a new hair do on for size when she used a clip in hairpiece to create fake bangs. Apparently she fell in love with the look because it wasn’t long before she cut her locks for real.
“I cut my bangs for real,” the soon-to-be mommy wrote on her blog. “What do you guys think of my new look?”
In addition to showing off real bangs for the first time a she hurried through the airport, Kanye’s boo also showed off her real face – completely makeup free.
The usually glammed up starlet put on a pair of dark black shades to hide her eyes as she did her best to shield herself from the cameras.
The early morning flight meant she didn’t have time to “put her face on” as they say, but she’ll have to get used to early mornings when her bun in the oven finally arrives.
Her reluctance to have cameras capture her free of makeup, however, had some fans speculating if her usual makeup free photos that she shares of herself are actually as natural as she makes it seem.
“This does not even look like Kim anymore,” one fan tweeted along with a photo of the star’s all natural look. “This is the real Kim that nobody sees.”
Others on the social media site claimed they knew the truth all along.
“Kims all natural pics never were [natural],” another user tweeted. “She definitely still had on some kinda foundation.”
Other than the spelling error, we DEFINITELY agree with the Tweeples on this one. The makeup-less Kim that the paparazzi catches doesn’t seem to match up with the all natural Kim photos that she often shares on Twitter.
Something the celeb managed NOT to share on Twitter for years, however, was her own infertility issues.
While fans were rushing to comfort Khloe in the midst of her battle with infertility woes, Kim had just overcome her own.
“Khloe has been very open about her fertility issue and I think I was always really kind of quiet about mine, and I have similar issues,” the 32-year-old star told the Today show. “…and so it was a pleasant surprise when so many doctors were telling me one thing and then the opposite happens. That’s an exciting moment; you can’t plan for things like that. So I think it’s just such a blessing knowing my circumstances.”
Well if Kim can get pregnant in the midst of infertility issues, we certainly hope it gives Khloe hope that having a baby isn’t impossible for her either.
For now, however, all eyes are on Kim as the media still waits for that one sure fire photo of Kim’s baby bump.
