Earlier today, Jay Z and Beyonce attended the ‘Justice for Trayvon Martin’ vigil where they posed with Rev. Al Sharpton and Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon's mother. The vigil began with a rally in Harlem before moving down to Lower Manhattan where a peaceful protest and rally was held.
While speaking at the National Action Network Headquarters, Sybrina told the crowd;

“George Zimmerman started the fight and George Zimmerman ended the fight,” Fulton said. “My son died without even knowing who his killer was ... Today it was my son. Tomorrow it might be yours.”

As for how she felt about the verdict, Sybrina said, “We have moved on from the verdict. Of course, we’re hurting. Of course we’re shocked and disappointed. But that just means we have to roll up our sleeves and fight.”

And Friday night......

Jay Z threw on a fitted cap and rocked the mic at Yankee Stadium for a sold-out concert.

The show was his first USA stop on the "Legends Of The Summer" tour with Justin TImberlake.
Jay performed crowd favorites like "99 Problems", "Hard-Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)", and HGMC tracks "Tom Ford" and "F---WithMeYouKnowIGotIt".

And fellow NY native, Alicia Keys, did a crowd-pleasing cameo.

After Justin put a blues-styled spin on the classic "New York, New York", Jay brought out  Alicia to sing the hook for "Empire State of Mind."

Backstage, Alicia was spotted with her husband, Swizz Beatz (who's produced some of HOVA's biggest hits).

And after the concert....it's the after party!

Following the concert, Jay and Bey headed over to Stash for the official Legends of The Summer after party.


After grabbing a few nibbles, Jay and Bey joined their guests and sipped on D'USSE cocktails.


Jay and Justin will be hitting the stage tonight for a second set at Yankee Stadium.

President Obama made a surprise statement to the nation earlier today, about the Trayvon Martin murder, race relations, and shared some insight into the social struggles that Black men face.  Watch the video above and read the transcript below...

I wanted to come out here, first of all, to tell you that Jay is prepared for all your questions and is very much looking forward to the session. The second thing is I want to let you know that over the next couple of weeks, there’s going to obviously be a whole range of issues -- immigration, economics, et cetera -- we'll try to arrange a fuller press conference to address your questions.

The reason I actually wanted to come out today is not to take questions, but to speak to an issue that obviously has gotten a lot of attention over the course of the last week -- the issue of the Trayvon Martin ruling. I gave a preliminary statement right after the ruling on Sunday. But watching the debate over the course of the last week, I thought it might be useful for me to expand on my thoughts a little bit.
First of all, I want to make sure that, once again, I send my thoughts and prayers, as well as Michelle’s, to the family of Trayvon Martin, and to remark on the incredible grace and dignity with which they’ve dealt with the entire situation. I can only imagine what they’re going through, and it’s remarkable how they’ve handled it.
The second thing I want to say is to reiterate what I said on Sunday, which is there’s going to be a lot of arguments about the legal issues in the case -- I'll let all the legal analysts and talking heads address those issues. The judge conducted the trial in a professional manner. The prosecution and the defense made their arguments. The juries were properly instructed that in a case such as this reasonable doubt was relevant, and they rendered a verdict. And once the jury has spoken, that's how our system works. But I did want to just talk a little bit about context and how people have responded to it and how people are feeling.
You know, when Trayvon Martin was first shot I said that this could have been my son. Another way of saying that is Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago. And when you think about why, in the African American community at least, there’s a lot of pain around what happened here, I think it’s important to recognize that the African American community is looking at this issue through a set of experiences and a history that doesn’t go away.
There are very few African American men in this country who haven't had the experience of being followed when they were shopping in a department store. That includes me. There are very few African American men who haven't had the experience of walking across the street and hearing the locks click on the doors of cars. That happens to me -- at least before I was a senator. There are very few African Americans who haven't had the experience of getting on an elevator and a woman clutching her purse nervously and holding her breath until she had a chance to get off. That happens often.

Glee' Season 5 Delayed Until Sept. 26 After Cory Monteith's Death

Following the tragic death of 31-year-old "Glee" star Cory Monteith, Fox, "Glee" producers, and the show's production company have decided to delay the premiere of the series' fifth season until Sept. 26.

Fox on Friday afternoon issued a release, stating, "In light of the tragic passing of beloved 'Glee' cast member Cory Monteith, the series' executive producers, 20th Century Fox Television, and Fox Broadcasting Company have jointly decided to delay the start of production of 'Glee' until early August … No further details are available at this time."

Monteith, who played star quarterback-turned-New Directions glee club leader Finn Hudson, was expected to be a part of the show's new season.
Fox also directed fans who want to honor Monteith to consider making donations in his name to charitable organizations he worked with, including Project Limelight Society, Virgin Unite, and Chrysalis.
Meanwhile, sources tell Yahoo! TV that friends of Monteith will be gathering at the late actor's house in Los Angeles on Friday night for a memorial service. The informal gathering, which will include several of Monteith's "Glee" cast members, will include friends sharing photos and happy stories about the actor, who was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room on July 13.

Monteith, who died after mixing alcohol and heroin, was cremated on Tuesday, after a viewing was held for his mother, brother Shaun, and real-life girlfriend/"Glee" co-star Lea Michele.

In Touch magazine reports fans of Monteith plan to hold a candlelight vigil for the actor outside the Fairmount Pacific Rim hotel in Vancouver, where the actor died, on Friday night.

Paparazzo Asks Kanye West One Question Too Many

Do not ask Kanye West a question. Got it?

One week after West was caught on video telling an inquisitive camera guy from TMZ to "never talk again," he's scuffled with a different paparazzo. The altercation happened at the same location, Los Angeles International Airport, and, according to TMZ, occurred after the unidentified photographer refused to stop asking the rapper questions.

The Los Angeles Police Department's Airport Police described the scene in a statement from public information officer Belinda L. Nettles:

"Today at approximately 2:00 p.m., at the Tom Bradley International Terminal (on the arrival level curbside), Los Angeles Airport Police officers were flagged down by a citizen (photographer) who alleged that he was taking pictures of an individual when he was battered by the subject. The alleged subject was not at the location nor was he observed by officers at the scene. LAFD was notified, responded to the location and transported the victim to a local hospital for medical attention. A police report was taken by the Los Angeles Police Department and the investigation is ongoing."

The increased scrutiny of the paparazzi since the birth of Kanye's daughter with Kim Kardashian, North West, on June 15, has obviously gotten to the Steve Jobs wannabe.

On Wednesday, the Kardashian mom defended West when she was asked about last week's run-in on CBS gabfest "The Talk."

"I think he was just a little sleep-deprived, because of the baby," Jenner joked before getting serious.
"You know what, I think it happens with anybody who gets upset with paparazzi-related issues is that they're obviously provoked to an extent that we see nothing about," she explained. "I think that none of us know what happened the 15 minutes before that and how crazy it could have gotten. Knowing Kanye — and I do know him very, very well, and I'm very close to him — and I think that … he doesn't have a short temper like everyone thinks. This happens, but it happens for a reason. You know, it takes a long time to get somebody to push those buttons."

Rae Dawn Chong’s Disgraceful Rant, Calls Oprah Winfrey a ‘Field N****r’

      Oprah Winfrey was verbally attacked by her former “Color Purple” co-star Rae Dawn Chong who unleashed a series of terrible insults, calling the media queen a “biotch” and a “field n****r.”
Oprah is no stranger to having shade thrown her way, especially after the heavy criticism that came from director-producer Tyler Perry’s new shows on OWN and from giving actress Lindsay Lohan a reality series, but this one has got to take the cake.
Chong appeared on “Matty P’s Radio Happy Hour” and filled the airwaves with tacky insults that made allusions to slavery.
Apparently the tension started with the movie “Commando”  that allegedly revealed a side of Oprah that Chong didn’t meet when they were filming “Color Purple.”
“I starred in Commando and she just wasn’t having me,” Chong said. “She’s competitive. She didn’t like me. She just wasn’t having me.”
After that, Chong began throwing out racially charged comments that would have  made anyone listening uncomfortable and disappointed that the actress would stoop so low.
“If you look at the way [Oprah] looks, she looks like 60 years ago she would have been a housekeeper luckily,” Chong said. “She would

have not been a house n****r, she would have been a field n****r.”
The comments about Oprah’s skin color would be crass and tasteless regardless of when they were said, but Chong couldn’t have picked a worse time to make these comments as African-Americans nationwide are fighting for racial equality in the justice system, following the “not guilty” verdict in the George Zimmerman trial.
Other comments about the daytime talk show queen slammed her physical appearance and suggested that she is obsessed with trying to become beautiful.
“She’s so enormously insecure,” the 52-year-old Canadian actress added. “If you wanna distill Oprah Winfrey down to like her most basic components, she wants to be beautiful.”
As if all that wasn’t enough, she even claimed that Oprah’s success is the result of her being a great “brown-noser.”
It’s not clear whether there are particular people that Oprah has been “brown-nosing” as stated by Chong, but they certainly aren’t the protesters and petition-starters who have been coming after OWN lately.
Like most of Tyler Perry’s works, his new series for OWN came with controversy. But the dislike of Perry’s programs was no match for how upset people were that Oprah was giving actress Lindsay Lohan a reality show.
Well, this will probably add more fuel to that fire because apparently the talk show icon signed a multimillion dollar check to get Lohan on board.
Despite the fact that the troubled actress should be willing to do a reality show for a free grilled cheese sandwich considering her financial struggles lately, she dragged Oprah’s team through four months of negotiations to get a larger pay off.
According to TMZ, Lohan will be paid $2 million for the exclusive interview and eight episodes of a reality series.
Lohan’s mother, Dina Lohan, was excited about the gig and hopes that her daughter will be getting a new mentor out of this.
“It’s fantastic,” Dina said. “If anyone is going to help mentor you, it’s going to be Oprah.”
There is no word out yet on whether Oprah really plans to take the party girl under her wing. Only time will tell if even the great Oprah Winfrey can’t get the “Mean Girls” actress back on track.

Kelly Rowland Named Jaguar Brand Ambassador

     

Kelly Rowland can add another gig to her growing list of endorsements. Rowland has struggled to reach the staggering level of solo success enjoyed by her former Destiny’s Child bandmate Beyonce, but with a few lucrative side offers, music may become her secondary income.
Earlier this month, Rowland signed on to endorse and promote the new F-Type series from the British car manufacturer Jaguar, and she will soon be featured in commercials promoting the brand.
The “Kisses Down Low” singer shared the news with her fans on Instagram. The photos came from the set of an ad campaign in Miami with the caption:
“Cruisin in my #F-type @jaguarUSA! Shooting commercial latemiaminights The jag is everything! Supersexy!!!”
Later this year, Rowland will take a seat next to talent manager Simon Cowell for the next installment of US X-Factor. Other lucrative endorsement deals for the singer included luxury watch brand TW Steel, and Sean John’s “Empress” perfume.
Rowland continues to promote her latest album “Talk a Good Game,” which only sold 68,000 copies in its first week.

Kanye West, Taylor Swift Just Can’t Get Over 2009 VMA Mic Snatching Beef

Taylor Swift took to Twitter to make a snarky jab at Kanye West after she received two VMA nominations, coincidentally just one day before an alleged audio of Mr. West dissing Swift, Pink, and the music industry leaked.
The old saying goes that truth crushed to the ground shall rise again. Apparently the same thing goes for drama.
After four years it seems like Taylor Swift  just isn’t ready to leave the past where it belongs. When she received two nominations for this year’s VMAs, she decided there was no better way to accept the nominations than to bring up the distant past.
“Two VMA nominations,” she tweeted. “If you vote and get us one, I promise to keep a firmer grip on the mic this time ”
The tweet referenced the way Mr. West stormed the stage, snatched the mic away from Swift as she was accepting her award and proclaimed that Beyonce “had one of the best videos of all time.”
After his rant ‘Ye returned to his seat and was pretty much already over the situation until he was “peer pressured” into apologizing to the young songstress.
Swift, on the other hand, has not been able to shake that moment from her memory banks – which is probably hard to do when you have a framed picture of that moment in your home, according to Vanity Fair.
The “New Slaves” rapper hasn’t responded to the tweet, but just a day after it was posted some audio leaked of what sounds like West ranting about the incident back in 2009.
While the flawless timing of the sound clip’s release has some people second guessing it’s authenticity, it certainly sounds like something Yeezy might have said after the VMAs four years ago.
“Taylor Swift cannot win over Beyonce,” the Kanye-like voice exclaimed. “Because I wrote my verse [to “Run This Town”] in two days, Taylor Swift cannot beat Beyonce. As long as I’m alive! And if I’m alive, kill me then! Kill me then! As long as I’m alive, you gon’ have to deal with it. ‘Cause there ain’t gonna be no more motherf***** Elvises with no James Browns.”
Ego-centered rant? Check. Faulty logic? Check. Comparisons to music icons? Check. A reference to his own musical talent even when it doesn’t seem related to the argument at hand? Check again. This sure has the making of a rant from Mr. West.
The unidentified voice then went on to slam MTV for having Pink perform when he clearly would have been in the better option, in his opinion.
“How the f*** Pink perform two songs and I didn’t even get asked to perform ‘Heartless’?” the voice questioned. “’Heartless’ is the biggest song of the year!”
Sources close to the hot-headed rapper couldn’t confirm whether the voice really was Kanye’s or not, but one source did say the entire audio sounded staged.

Jennifer Hudson Promotes Love with Gun T-Shirt

     

Former American Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson has joined the chorus of celebrities speaking out against the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the killing of 17-year old Trayvon Martin.
Hudson shared the powerful message of  love in an unexpected manner, on a T-shirt with “Love” spelled out with guns and other weapons.
The “Dreamgirls” actress added this caption to the photo: “It’s time to turn all of that into this !!!! LOVE”.
While millions were touched by what appeared to be the senseless murder of an unarmed teenager, Hudson grappled with her own intimate experience with gun violence.
In 2008, Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew were shot dead by a family friend. Around this time last year, Hudson sat in a courtroom as William Balfour received three life sentences in the murders. While both incidents are tragic, Hudson can find some relief knowing that the justice system worked in her favor.

Rihanna to Sue Topshop, Flaunts Slim Figure in Animal-Print Jumpsuit

Earlier this week, Rihanna debuted her gray locks to mixed reviews. Not one to back down, the singer stepped out in a red and black, animal-print, cut-out jumpsuit. It’s a mouthful.
Meanwhile, Rihanna and her team are considering suing British retailer Topshop for using her image without permission.
Last evening on the streets of London after leaving the Roberto Cavallli store, the “Rude Boy” singer managed to be fully covered up and still ooze sex appeal in the Opening Ceremony jumpsuit that she paired with red and black Adidas Original X.
Hollywoodlife.com couldn’t bring themselves to hate the look:
“We’re going to be totally honest and upfront with you here: we kinda love this catsuit. It’s crazy, it’s hot, it shows off every inch of Rihanna’s body and most importantly, it’s original. Who else would wear this and look so good? The one-piece features a bra top with a halter strap and a cutout at the waist. It shows off Rihanna’s cleavage and tattoos and it looks great with her new gray hair, too.”
It’s definitely a look only Rihanna can pull off.
While stepping out like every day is a fashion show is easy for the 25-year old pop star, British retailer Topshop may sour her taste toward the fashion industry.
According to the BBC, Rihanna’s lawyers said:
“In 2012, Topshop sold a T-shirt displaying a clearly recognizable image of Rihanna taken when she was on a video shoot. She was wearing her makeup and hairdo for the video shoot, and very similar images of her appeared on her CD inlay (for the album Talk that Talk.) A substantial number of people buying, or even seeing, those T-shirts would think they are approved or somehow connected with Rihanna, when, in fact, they were not approved of or connected with her at all.”
Geoffrey Hobbs, QC for Topshop, was ready for battle. Hobbs argued that the retailer followed protocol when they purchased a license to use the image from the photographer who took it.
A hearing on the case was held on Friday with more details to follow.

Outrageous: Kanye West Named Felony Suspect in Airport Attack Against Photog

Kanye West is being investigated for allegedly beating a photographer on his way out of the Los Angeles International Airport.
The incident took place outside the lower level of the Tom Bradley Terminal.
According to LA Times:
“A scuffle took place after a photographer continued to take pictures of the rapper after being told that West did not want his picture taken, sources familiar with the investigation said. Paramedics were called to the scene after the paparazzo complained of injuries. Sources said there were no immediate or visible signs of injury.”
TMZ obtained video of West initially walking away from the throng of photographers. It appears however that something caused the rapper to turn around, approach one photographer and attempt to pull his camera away.
LA Times added that an eyewitness named Samir Chantre revealed in a telephone interview that the incident occurred about 2 p.m. outside the international terminal.
According to the witness as West exited the airport, “five photographers started shooting pictures of him and one of them was over the microphone and was saying stuff to him.” Chantre added, “seemed like he was getting offended” and eventually ran after one of the photographers.
The victim has reportedly decided to press charges.
According to TMZ:
“The victim has been interviewed by cops and they’ve determined he did indeed suffer injuries during the attack. Cops will refer the case to the D.A. as a felony attempted robbery and not a battery case. The routine is to go after the suspect for the most serious charge.”

It's the moment Cyrus decided to chop her hair, of course. While she doesn't specifically say the haircut — which which took place almost a year ago, abruptly changing her long wavy locks into a punkish platinum pixie — is responsible for her recent string of brash headlines, she does admit it was a major game-changer.
"I didn’t plan a haircut to change my life. I just cut my hair and then it really changed my life," Cyrus recently told the Toronto Sun."There’s something about having no hair that it screams being confident."

Indeed, the star has never expressed even an ounce of regret for going under the shears. "Never felt more me in my whole life," she tweeted upon debuting her new look. Enter twerking, giant teddy bears, and jumpsuits on the red carpet directly to follow.

Cyrus has received her share of criticism for the 'do, of course, including some mean-spirited speculation about her sexual orientation. However, that doesn't bother her a bit. "Being a lesbian isn’t a bad thing. So if you think I look like I’m a lesbian, I’m not offended," she noted, adding, "I’ve been called much worse. Being a lesbian is a compliment more than what else they call me.”

Love it or hate it, her attention-grabbing hair does seem to have propelled her attractiveness factor, if her top position on the fan-voted annual Maxim list is any indication. "People think short hair, they think tomboy … and I’ve obviously done the opposite ‘cause when I cut my hair, I did my first Maxim cover," she points out.

Heck, she's even broken new territory: "I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Maxim cover with a girl with short hair.”

According to Selena Gomez, yes. The "Come & Get It" singer told Ryan Seacrest in an E! special airing this Sunday that after she parted ways with the Biebs in November, it was difficult to deal with their breakup under the prying eyes of the press.
"Was there a point where it was almost unbearable?" Seacrest questioned. "Yeah. I'm sure you could actually see those pictures of me being, like, way stressed out about it," Gomez dished. "And it's hard, because what do you do? Do you just wanna sit in your house and hide and not go anywhere?"
The "Spring Breakers" star didn't spend too much time crying in her Kleenex at home. Instead, she leaned on her A-list pals like Taylor Swift for support and started working on her new album "Stars Dance," which hits shelves July 23.

Nonetheless, their very public split peppered news headlines for weeks. In May, the former Disney darling told InStyle Magazine, "It's uncomfortable that everywhere I go, people know. I don't like that. But Justin and I never really focused on the attention. You can't help who you date. So I wouldn't swear off that or say that's what I want again. I don't know. I'm a kid, and a breakup is normal. I have to go through the emotions and feel it out."

Keep It or Ditch It? Rihanna Dyes Hair Gray, Calls it the ‘New Black’

When Rihanna changes her hairstyle, it’s news, period. The trendsetting young popstar single-handedly revived the side-swoop bob and pixie haircut in 2008.
Rih Rih soon began changing her hairstyles and entire image with the wind. Her latest do, the “Skrillex” made it’s debut in 2012. The “Skrillex”, which was voted the worst hairstyle of 2012 by Fabriah.com, involves shaving off half of your hair, while leaving the other half full of beautiful hair.
It has since gone through many variations including a flock of other celebrities like Cassie, Avril Lavigne and Miley Cyrus, rocking their own interpretation of the haircut.
Nothing beats going gray.
Should we look forward to seeing millions of young girls instantly aging themselves by voluntarily dyeing their hair gray? If Rihanna has it her way, yes.

Kerry Washington Remains Mum on Secret Wedding, Nabs Her First Emmy Nomination

The “Django Unchained” actress just received her first ever Emmy nomination for her lead role in ABC’s hit political thriller series “Scandal.”
Washington will go head to head with Robin Wright of Netflix’s surprise hit “House of Cards,” Vera Farmiga of “Bates Hotel,” Connie Britton of “Nashville,” Claire Danes of “Homeland,” Michelle Dockery of “Downton Abbey,” and Elisabeth Moss of “Mad Men.”
Stiff competition, but nothing crisis manager Olivia Pope can’t manage.
In her personal life, Washington is remaining quiet on her secret June 24 nuptials to NFL pro Nnamdi Asomugha in Hailey, Idaho.
A staple on social networking site Twitter since her hit show “Scandal” took the site by storm, Washington took a noticeable hiatus one week before her wedding. Fans were likely waiting with bated breath for the actress to return with news of her wedding, even if she only changed her profile to confirm the nuptials. No such luck.
Earlier this week, Washington returned to Twitter and addressed her millions of followers, “It’s great being back and I love reading all your tweets, but FYI, I still don’t talk about my personal life on here.”
Washington later added, “I seriously love you guys!” Bummer.
It turns out Washington wasn’t biased against keeping her fans and the media out of her wedding, even friends of the actress had to reckon with being left out. A source revealed to US magazine, that the actress “told her friends who found out in the news not to take it personally.”
Maybe they will luck out and receive an invite to the house-warming party. Another source told the tabloid that the newlyweds are renovating Washington’s West Hollywood condo to it make their new home.
“It’s their first home together!” Adding, “They’re doing great. . . They’re both very intelligent, good people and are a perfect match.”

How many times have you read those words in print? The Grown Woman singer continues to expand her brand beyond the tightly wound image once controlled by her father Mathew Knowles.
In the lastest issue of  ”Flaunt” magazine, Mrs. Carter is stark naked, covered in gold glitter. In other images, the pop star cleaned off the glitter and added beautiful, beaded, African-inspired necklaces.

Beyoncé: A cozy blanket, red wine, fruit, ’90s R&B playing on my iPod. I don’t think you need much else.
Gay men are drawn to you and empowered by you, as they have been to “gay icons” Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand, Cher, and Madonna. What is it about you, and those women, that gay men love?
I’m flattered if I’m in the company of those great women. I think they love that we are bold, unafraid to love, and flaunt our sexuality and strength.
What’s up with gluten anyway?
I’m okay with gluten. Sunday pizza is a must for me!

Tyra Sanchez based his drag persona for “RuPaul’s Drag Race” on you. What does it mean that someone who impersonates your “girl-power” persona is a man with a successful career as a female impersonator? Is there conflict there?
No conflict. I love it and Miss Tyra is fabulous!
What famous piece of architecture might you most like to do some necking in?
The Louvre, or under the Arc de Triomphe. Paris is a beautiful, sexy city.
Millennials make up a huge part of your fan base. Thousands of them have responded to your Instagram hashtag #beygood to promote goodwill. How do you feel about the media’s take on youth as the “me, me, me” generation, or a generation of “slack-tivists” [people who are activists online but not in the real world]?
At my concerts I see the opposite. They are engaged in making a difference. We have collected tons of donations that will go toward creating jobs and helping people get jobs. That’s something I want to celebrate. For Chime for Change we raised awareness and over $4 million in one day for equal rights for girls everywhere. So many people at that concert were young. They are more socially responsible than they get credit for.

Some were critical at your participating in a Pepsi campaign after you moved your body for childhood obesity. Where is the balance between your career objectives and your philanthropy?
Pepsi is a brand I’ve grown up seeing my heroes collaborate with. The company respects musicians and artistry. I wouldn’t encourage any person, especially a child, to live life without balance.
When you work out, take care of your body, rehearse as hard as I rehearsed in the commercial, I think it’s great to have a Pepsi or Diet Pepsi when you want one. It’s all about choices.
What is your favorite kind of stain?
Milk.

One piece of clothing you own that you absolutely couldn’t live without?
A white T-shirt.
You have always carefully sculpted your image and controlled public access to your off-stage life. Is there anything to envy about stars who don’t care about safeguarding their private lives?
I have chosen to keep certain aspects of my life private. But I also love sharing what makes me happy, especially through photography.
Is there a sex scandal in history that you find not so scandalous, and instead just kinda awesome?
Antony and Cleopatra. The legend of that love affair affected history and lives to this day.

A number of magazines list the top X number of ways to please your lover. Anything missing on these lists typically?
If you have to read those lists, you’re already in trouble.

Beyonce’s Ex-Bandmate LeToya Luckett Stirs Debate on ‘Sin of Being Gay’

    Is being gay a sin?
Beyonce’s former Destiny’s Child bandmate and friend, LeToya Luckett appears to think so.
Luckett released some frustrations – not so much about the sin of being gay but that it’s the only sin people tend to focus on.
The Houston native posted on Facebook yesterday,
“Being GAY is the ONLY sin people focus on. Cursing? Sin. Sex before marriage? Sin. Sins are sins. Y’all are too judgmental, that’s also a sin.”
Luckett’s position on the subject of homosexuality and judging isn’t entirely surprising, since as a child she grew up and performed at her Brentwood Baptist Church.
Within three hours of posting the statement, Luckett received over 800 “likes” and nearly 100 comments.
One standout comment from Michael Scott challenged the misuse of the words “homophobia” and “judging.”
He wrote, in part:
“All have sinned but to exchange the truth for a lie…exchange the natural for the unnatural never makes it right or any sin all have sinned..to say something is wrong is not judging…We’re all called to love but we are not called to agree with a lifestyle…It’s okay to condemn every other lifestyle but the minute you speak out against homosexuality then it’s called judging or you’re homophobic….”
Juice Fromdayone questioned the role of the media:
“Only because the media pushes it in our face everyday, don’t see any straight people parading to be excepted or promoting “im straight”, as a Christian it’s a(n) abomination according to the bible, yes they (there) are many sins, but this one is the only (one) that thrives to be noticed, most people who are gay have more issues than we think, never completely happy, but its not up to no human to judge, God got that”
Meanwhile Luckett, who joined Beyonce to form the original Destiny’s Child, has other projects she’s focused on when not stirring up debates on Facebook.
Later this month July 21, fans can watch Luckett on Centric network’s Culturelist.
During an interview to promote the show Luckett revealed to Ebony.com that she’s also working on new music.
“I’m working in the studio right now. You should be hearing something from me very soon. The sound is different, I’ve been working with different producers than my last album. It’s definitely still R&B, of course. I’m trying some new things. Live bands, and even vocally. I am just trying some new stuff and I hope the fans love it. It’s still young and fresh, but it’s still LeToya.”

Kanye West is having a good day, hopefully.
After dropping his controversial album “Yeezus” to positive reviews and sales, welcoming his first child with girlfriend Kim Kardashian, West has another notch to add under his belt: successful fashion designer.
The rapper-turned-designer joined forces with Parisian brand A.P.C to launch a nine-piece capsule collection.
A.P.C head designer Jean Touitou revealed that the project took two years. Touitou added in a statement, ”Over the months, we kept hanging out and finally came up with the idea of doing a small capsule collection of clothes together.”
According to People magazine, the nine-piece collection ranges in price from $120 to $280 and consists of two pairs of jeans, several T-shirts, and hoodies. The finely edited collection went on sale online Sunday morning at about 10 a.m. Paris time,  immediately sold out and crashed the A.P.C. website.
This victory is especially sweet for West who has struggled deeply to make his mark in the finicky and cliquish fashion industry.
Prior to the launch, a friend of the rapper, Travi$ Scott tweeted,
“When I first landed in Paris. Ye brought me to APC headquarters to meet Jean seeing this collab come out  after many designers tellin Ye  he couldn’t do sh*** is so fresh.”
Fans of A.P.C and West who can’t fit in the current remaining size 25 jeans or an XXL T-shirt, will have a chance to pre-order through Wednesday as the company restocks.

Rihanna a No-Show at Depositions for 9 Months, Could Cost Her Millions

     

Rihanna has failed to show up to any of the depositions in her own lawsuit against her former accountants and apparently the firm is fed up with getting the run around for nine months and they’re firing back.
The Bajan beauty obviously has an issue with attendance as she has consistently shown up to her  concerts late and apparently just doesn’t show up to court depositions at all.
It all started when the “Stay” songstress decided to sue her former accounts after she claimed they mismanaged her money. The firm’s counter-claim is exactly what makes Rihanna’s absence so ironic.
Berdon LLP claims that it was Rihanna’s careless attitude that brought on her financial troubles and that it had nothing to do with them.
It looks like it’s that same careless attitude that has the legal proceedings at a stalemate.
Berdon LLP’s new legal documents are getting the case fired up again because now they are coming after Chris Brown’s ex and demanding to be compensated for all the money they wasted trying to set up a deposition with her.
They claimed to have set several appointments with RiRi since November 2012, but every time the agreed upon date rolls around, Rihanna suddenly is too busy to show her face.
In January she failed to show up without really offering an explanation.
They tried again in May, but the 25-year-old songstress claimed she couldn’t make it because of her concert dates that had been scheduled well in advance.
In other words, she should have never agreed to the May 8 and May 9 dates if she knew she had a show.
After that, things got downright disrespectful. Rihanna failed to show up for a June 19 deposition after she insisted she was too sick, despite  performing on stage shortly before and after the deposition date and posting pictures of herself  showing no signs of illness, all over Twitter and Instagram.
The June deposition was the most expensive date for Berdon LLP because they agreed to set up the meeting in London to accommodate for Rihanna’s tour schedule, but even then she was a no-show.
Berdon refuses to “excuse her behavior” and they want her to fork over a minimum of $100,000 to compensate for all the costs of arranging depositions that never happened.
If the firm gets its way, Rihanna’s multimillion dollar lawsuit will be trashed as well.
To make matters worse, the “Rude Boy” crooner has been flaunting her expensive taste and loads of free time all over social media, which eliminates any other possibility that she genuinely just couldn’t make it to the assigned dates.
First she posted a picture of herself in a weird “Star Wars”-inspired get-up that looked like oversized pajamas for a teenage boy.
She paired the sci-fi ensemble with some white studded heels and gold-rimmed sunglasses and quite frankly nothing about the outfit made any sense – especially after she added a gold necklace on top of the already way-too-busy print.
It wasn’t long before she switched back into her usual fashion realm, as she exposed her cleavage and gold grill for her Instagram followers.
The picture was a downward shot which put her breasts and blinged-out mouth piece at the center of attention while cropping out the rest of her face.
“I’m an outlaw b****!!” She wrote along with the picture.
Definitely not as classy as the presentation of Jill Scott’s Essence Festival grill, which was designed to be much more discreet, and definitely not something that will help Rihanna in her legal battle.
