Beyonce Reportedly Booted From Egyptian Pyramids For Being 'Rude'

It's hard to believe Beyonce would be kicked out of anything or anywhere, but that's reportedly what happened when an infamous archaeologist booted her from the Egyptian pyramids.
Beyonce travelled to Egypt back in 2009 during her I Am... Tour. Shortly after the superstar stopped by the pyramids, she was bashed by Dr. Zahi Hawass, otherwise known as "Egypt's Indiana Jones." The Egyptologist allegedly referred to the "Love On Top" singer as a "stupid person" who "doesn't understand a thing" and only went there to take photos, BET reported at the time, via local newspapers.
Hawass also cut short her tour of the iconic Egyptian site, according to a new interview.
"Most people I take on tours are very nice and we become friends. But this lady...," Hawass recently told the Independent of Beyonce's visit to the pyramids. "She said she would come at 3 p.m. but she came late. I said 'You have to say I'm sorry I'm late.' But she didn't open her mouth."
"I brought a photographer and she also had a photographer and a guard," he added. "When my photographer started to shoot, he said 'No, Stop! I am the one who says yes or no, not you.' I said, 'In that case since you almost hit my photographer and you are not polite - out! I am not giving you the privilege of having you on my tour.' I said Beyonce was stupid and I left."
Hawass, who was once the Egyptian antiquities minister, is a controversial figure.
Although he has been commended for boosting interest in archaeology in the region, his credibility has come into question, and he has been criticized for his love of publicity. In 2011, he was fired because of his relationship with ousted President Hosni Mubarak's regime, The Associated Press reported.
He came under investigation for various indiscretions -- corruption, wasting public funding and shipping Egyptian antiquities overseas without permission, opening them up to theft -- according to the Smithsonian magazine. He was also banned from traveling outside of the country.

Kim Kardashian Is So Hot, She Doesn't Need To Wear A Winter Coat

Kim Kardashian stepped out in the brisk weather of New York City today (Nov. 26) wearing nothing but a t-shirt, ripped white jeans and strappy heels. (Side note: It's actually snowing in the Big Apple.)

Kardashian took a stroll with her daughter North West, who was bundled up in her baby carriage. Fiance Kanye West was nowhere in sight, but he was spotted leaving their NYC apartment in Soho earlier in the day.
He, on the other hand, was wearing a coat ... a fur one to be exact.

Chris Brown Reluctant To Give Up Weed In Anger Management Rehab

Chris Brown had no problem handing over his cell phone and access to the Internet when he checked into anger management rehabilitation center. But when it came to his weed, the R&B star put up a bit of a fight.
Brown, who smashed his mother’s car window in a burst of rage, reportedly said that the marijuana was prescribed to him by a doctor to help him deal with depression.
The staff at the rehab facility did not accept Brown’s story, and they ordered him to hand over the marijuana.
Various reports claim that’s when the “Fine China” singer had tempter tantrum. Eventually the staff was able to get possession of the supposed medical marijuana and Brown finally began the mandatory 90-day stay in a live-in anger management facility in California.
This comes shortly after Brown was initially kicked out of anger rehab for smashing his mother’s car window when she begged her son to stay in rehab.
The young crooner’s mother also insisted that Brown’s friends, including struggling rapper Kid Red, are partly to blame for his wild behavior and addiction to marijuana.
Meanwhile, all his legal woes are also having a negative impact on his album’s release date. His album, “X,” has had to be pushed back several times due to court dates and other unexpected legal troubles.
“I’m just trying to move forward and learn from every mistake,” Brown said.
In order to cater to his patient fans Brown has released a free mixtape titled “X-Files.”
A new release date hasn’t been scheduled, but his stay in anger management certainly will impact when it is available.

Glee’ Star Amber Riley Wins ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Amber Riley, star of the hit show “Glee,” won the 17th season of Dancing with the Stars thanks to a perfect score on the final three dance routines.
Riley beat out Corbin Bleu and Jack Osbourne.
She and professional dance partner Derrick Hough soared their way to the top after incredible Samba and Quickstep routines and they showed versatility with a sexy Charleston number.
After the victory, the young actress dished on the why she did the show.
“I didn’t know if I [could] do it and anything that scares me I wanna do,” she said. “So I want to let women of all sizes out there know you can do whatever you put your mind to. It doesn’t matter what size you are, what color you are, you can do whatever, whatever, whatever, whatever you put your mind to!”
Amber seemed to be quite a natural on the dance floor and it also helped that she had arguably one of the best coaches on the show in Hough, who now has five Mirror Ball Trophies.
Still, the 27-year-old starlet was a bit of an underdog coming into the competition as she had to battle a knee injury throughout most of the season.
Bleu, who was a favorite because of  his dance experience with Disney’s “High School Musical,” came in second.
“I thank God for this experience,” he said. “I thank my family; I thank my best partner in the world.”
Scores from judges and the show’s national audience determined the victor.

Kanye West is a man truly and crazily in love. In a radio interview with Angie Martinez yesterday, Kanye said he isn't worried about how his relationship with Kim K is affecting his career, saying she's so beautiful it doesn't matter if she is uncool.

'I don't give a f*** what type of jacket she got on. Ladies and gentlemen y'all acting like this ain't the most beautiful woman of all time! Arguably of human existence. The top ten of human existence.'

Kanye also said dating Kim has taught him that life was about more than 'whats cool or not cool'.

'I felt like our love story is a love story for the ages. I felt like when we first got together it's a Romeo And Juliet kind of thing. Like she's a reality star and I'm a rapper and people talking about how our brands connect and it doesn't fit. And I'm just so tired of brands... It's not about branding at a certain point. He then admitted he allowed the Keeping Up With Kardashian cameras to capture his elaborate marriage proposal to Kim last month.

'When we got engaged I made sure the show was there because I felt like that would make her happy. Regardless of how it was shot I felt like this was a moment she would want to have.'

In case you can’t tell by the Lil Kim and Macaulay Culkin posts, we’re basically catching up on the stories from the weekend that the AMAs, and all the pussy jokes contained wherein, shoved to the side. So here’s Beyoncé getting banned from the pyramids because she kept one of Egypt’s most renowned archaeologists waiting and did that weird shit about getting her picture taken again.

“She said she would come at 3pm but she came late. I said ‘You have to say I’m sorry I’m late’. But she didn’t open her mouth,” continued Dr Hawass, credited with modernising the management of Egypt’s ancient sites and who claims to have repatriated 6,000 artefacts “stolen” by Western powers.
“I brought a photographer and she also had a photographer and a guard. When my photographer started to shoot, he said ‘No, Stop! I am the one who says yes or no, not you.’ I said ‘In that case since you almost hit my photographer and you are not polite – out! I am not giving you the privilege of having you on my tour.’ I said Beyoncé was stupid and I left.”

The matter was later cleared up after Dr. Hawass admitted he mistook Beyoncé’s white companion for a mummy escaped from one of the crypts. “I guess I should have known when the creature requested a meal of exactly eight flax seeds, yet it also demanded pure water from an ancient, engraved urn, much like a pharaoh would, so I threw a scarab at its head and called it a bitch. I was acting on reflex.”

Britney Spears didn't have to wait long after her split from Jason Trawick for love to come knocking at her heart again. The "Work Bitch" singer stepped out with David Lucado in March -- after announcing the end of her engagement to Trawick in January -- and eight months later, the two are stronger than ever. In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, airing Tuesday, Nov. 26, the 31-year-old pop star opens up about her relationship with her Southern-born beau.
"I'm in love," she tells Rob Marciano of Lucado. "I like the fact that he's very stubborn and he's stuck in his ways. He's just a simple man. I adore him. He's really funny and he's really passionate. I love the fact that anything he's involved in he's passionate about, and it's contagious."

Lucado even passed muster with her dad, Jamie Spears. Asked about rumors that Jamie carried out a background check on her new boyfriend, the former Disney Mouseketeer admits, "That is true. My dad's a little crazy like that."
As for what the couple's future has in store, Spears isn't sure. The mom of two -- to Sean, 8, and Jayden, 7, with ex-husband Kevin Federline -- tells ET she'd like to have more children but is undecided about walking down the aisle again.

That may explain at least in part why she ended her romance with Trawick. Prior to getting engaged to the agent in 2011, the "Perfume" songstress was married to Federline from 2004 to 2007. She also famously dated fellow pop superstar Justin Timberlake from 1999 to 2002.
Spears actually name-dropped Timberlake during a recent interview for The Ryan Seacrest Foundation. "I really like Justin Timberlake's 'Holy Grail,'" she said of what she's been listening to lately, referring to the "Mirrors" singer's collaboration with rapper Jay Z. "I like that song. I think it's, like, mystical."

Her own music is nothing to sneeze at, either. "I would say [the album] was kind of like therapy for me," she tells Entertainment Tonight of her upcoming record, Britney Jean. "It just kind of transformed me. As you write something, your perspective changes. So it was like my 'good therapy record.' I'm an artist, so I think there are periods in everyone's life where you get kind of reclusive, your creative outlet is cut off. Then sometimes it flows and you're like, 'Oh my God, this is what I need to be doing,' [which makes] it easier for you to be the artist that you want to be."
"I love what I do," she adds. "I mean, there's been days where it's been harder for me than other days, of course...[but] my philosophy is to just take each day at a time."

Maksim Chmerkovskiy had the honor -- and huge responsibility -- of lifting Jennifer Lopez up in the air while performing together at the 2013 American Music Awards in L.A. on Sunday, Nov. 24. The 33-year-old former Dancing With the Stars pro joined the 44-year-old singer and her other backup dancers to give an unforgettable tribute to Cuban salsa performer Celia Cruz.

Chmerkovskiy showed off his bare chest and muscles in an unbuttoned pink dress shirt while dancing alongside Lopez. The sexy songstress also flaunted her body in a cleavage-baring purple fringe bodysuit.

At one moment during the act, Chmerkovskiy lifted Lopez up horizontally above his head. Lopez held his arm and shoulder while the dance pro grabbed her arm and thigh. In a response to Perez Hilton calling the stunt "epic" on Twitter, Chmerkovskiy confessed that it was "the most stressful four seconds of my life!"

Fortunately, Chmerkovskiy pulled it off without any mishaps. He also shared his appreciation for being a part of the performance by posting a photo with the rest of the backup dancers on Instagram. "ABUNDANCE of talent in this picture had nothing to do with the end result!" he captioned the group shot. "The hardest working group of dancers I've worked with!"

Kelly Osbourne was none too pleased with President Barack Obama's visit to Los Angeles this week.

The "Fashion Police" star took to Twitter Monday night to express her frustrations. Her temper tantrum struck a bit of a nerve throughout social media:

Her tweet triggered dozens of responses, many of which criticized her for putting "president" in quotes and labeled her a whiner for complaining about such first world problems.
Many other tweets contained language that made them inappropriate to reproduce here.

After a whole hour of waiting, Kelly finally made it home and managed to find the silver lining in the moment at hand.

But not before she played the Brit card, writing, "I come from a county of real royals and they don't even pull this ---t for the Queen!"

On loving and leaving Tracey: We wanted it to look like that. We felt responsible. The reality is that there was a connection that wasn’t really there. Kanye West Claims He’ll Be Bigger than Wal-Mart During Interview With Kim K

 

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian sat down together for a rare joint interview where Kanye’s claims that he would be bigger than Wal-Mart and explanation for why he doesn’t want to be on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” managed to steal the spotlight.
While Kim Kardashian was present during the entire interview with New York’s Hot 97 on Monday, she might as well have stayed home with baby North West because the interview was all about Kanye and his usual outrageous claims.
This time Kanye claimed that he would be bigger than Wal-Mart thanks to his new deal with Adidas after he kicked Nike to the curb.
The “I am a god” rapper has actually had a long-standing relationship with Nike and collaborated with the sneaker brand to release his very own line of shoes called the Air Yeezys, which remains one of the most in-demand shoe collections.
Well, it seems Kanye is ready to burn a few bridges and move on as he teams up with Nike’s rival.
“The old me might have taken this Nike deal because I just love Nike so much, blah, blah, blah,” Kanye said. “But the new me with a daughter takes the Adidas deal because I have royalties and I have to provide for my daughter. . . I’m going to be the first hip-hop designer, and because of that I’m gonna be bigger than Wal-Mart.”
Apparently he’s already bigger than Kim Kardashian’s reality show, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
According to Kim’s fiance, he doesn’t want to appear on the show because the actual videography isn’t up to his glorious standards (the same standards that have given us a hilariously awkward “Bound 2” video).
“I don’t really do her show just because I don’t particularly like the way the producers shoot some of the shots,” he told the radio station. “I’m very meticulous to that, right? I like to get a different [director of photography] or whatever and when we got engaged, I made sure the show was there because I felt like that was something that would make her happy.”
Whether or not the proposal is still going to air, however, is still up for debate.
“Regardless of how it was shot, I felt like this is a moment she would like to have and would like to share, and just have that documented and we could decide later or not to air it,” he said.
That also means that airing the couple’s wedding isn’t completely out of the question despite how much Kanye claims he wants his family to have privacy.
As for Kim’s contribution to the interview, she dished more on Katie Couric being a “fake media friend.”
“Katie Couric sent us a baby gift for our daughter,” Kim said. “It was really sweet and I loved it. And then she went and did an interview and said, ‘Oh, I don’t know why the Kardashians are famous.’ Like dissing us.”
That’s when she decided to post a picture of Couric’s gift and note on Instagram to “blast her for fake being nice,” but only after she got Kanye’s permission to do so.
While Kanye allowed his fiancee to post the picture on social media he later regretted not taking more control of how the picture was taken.
“Just wanted to make the card symmetrical in the Instagram picture,” he said. “I hate asymmetry. I want it…. but it was her idea.”
During the interview Kanye also told the radio station that his “love story’s a love story for the ages” before comparing his romance to “Romeo and Juliet.”

In the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter (THR), 12 Years a Slave‘s Lupita Nyong’o, Emma Thompson (Saving Mr. Banks), Amy Adams (American Hustle), Octavia Spencer (Fruitvale Station) and Oprah Winfrey (The Butler) sat down for the Actress Roundtable.
The hourlong conversation will air as a PBS special in December and features the actresses giving advice and talking about their ups and downs. Check out highlights below:
What’s the best or worst piece of advice you’ve been given in Hollywood?
OCTAVIA SPENCER: Well, I’ll break that ice. When I first started acting, my acting teacher said, “Imagine if you’re doing a scene and someone is out in the hall. If it sounds like you’re doing a scene, you’re doing a scene. If it sounds like you’re actually having a conversation, you’re having a conversation.”
LUPITA NYONG’O: My teacher at Yale, Ron Van Lieu, once said, “It feels like it’s all about you, but it’s not about you at all. It’s about the person you’re playing.” And that always helps me get out there and do the thing I’ve been hired to do. I am fighting for what my character wants, and if I’m pursuing that, then I’m good.
Are people writing better parts for women now?
SPENCER: Well, you have a fresh crop of female writers, and men are writing better parts for women and realizing that women can open films. I think we’re making strides. We’re not there yet, but I’m really excited about the past couple of years.
Lupita, how did you prepare to take on 12 Years a Slave?
NYONG’O: It was tough. I knew I couldn’t go about it in any sort of method way because I would have not survived the experience. I was always so close to tears, and plenty of times, I’d be in my hotel room, just crying.
WINFREY: When you do something like that, do you somehow touch the energy space of the ancestors? When I did Beloved, I [had] a collection of slave memorabilia. I have the names of the slaves on my wall. I have them all listed by their names and their prices. You see the horse cart and the shoes, and the donkey and the lamb, as listed with “Sam” and “Anne.”
Would you play a villain?
WINFREY: I would, but there is a limit to the amount of darkness I want to bring into my own personal space.
NYONG’O: What was so extraordinary about Patsey was that she was filled with so much light despite the darkness. [Writer] Khalil Gibran says, “The deeper sorrow carves itself into your being, the more joy you can contain.” That was my experience of working on 12 Years a Slave.
Whose career would you love to emulate?
NYONG’O: Hold on. (Takes a tissue.) When I was a little girl, the first time I thought I could be an actor was when I watched The Color Purple.
WINFREY: Oh my God, give me a tissue.
NYONG’O: I grew up in Kenya, and a lot of our programming was from all over the world, and we didn’t see ourselves onscreen. It was very rare that you’d see people that look like me. And there was Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah and everything. It’s so meaningful to be sitting here beside you.
WINFREY: It is equally meaningful for me.

Chris Brown Allowed to Skip D.C. Court Date, Stay in Rehab

Chris Brown will have more time to get continuous treatment at a rehab facility for his anger. A judge says the singer doesn’t have to travel from Los Angeles to Washington to appear in court.
According to HuffPost, D.C. Superior Judge Robert Tignor agreed Friday to let Brown waive his scheduled appearance on Monday.
Brown is facing a misdemeanor assault charge. He and bodyguard Christopher Hollosy were arrested last month on charges of punching a man outside a hotel who tried to jump into a picture with the singer.
His lawyers say they haven’t had an opportunity to review evidence with him. They told the judge it didn’t make sense for him to check out of rehab and travel cross-country when all they plan to do Monday is request a new court date.
Brown voluntarily entered rehab in late October, but was kicked out of the center earlier this month for smashing his mother’s car window with a rock during a family session.
Last week, Superior Court Judge James Brandlin ordered Brown to serve three months in a new facility under specified conditions. Brown will be required to complete 24 hours of community service per week and submit to drug testing, in addition to working on his anger management issues. He was also ordered to take any medication that the doctors at the facility prescribe.

Fashion Madness: Best, Worst Dressed of the 2013 AMAs Red Carpet

The 2013 American Music Awards were interesting, to say the least, and the red carpet warned everyone that the night was going to get a little freaky before the show even began. From faux horses to the see-through trend being taken to the extreme, the red carpet brought out the best and worst of some people’s glam squads.
Worst Dressed List

Zoe Saldana is an absolutely stunning girl, so when even she can’t make a dress look chic, the dress needs to be tossed out the window. Zoe’s dress was the result of some pretty sketchy patchwork and just didn’t make any sense. Everything from her hemline to the silver panel on the already ugly print forced Zoe right on to our worst dressed list with no questions asked.

Heidi Klum’s dress is one that doesn’t even need an explanation for why it’s topping every worst dressed list that has been created since the awards aired Sunday night.

Emma Roberts should know better. Do you all remember the big “Balloon Boy” madness from 2012? Well apparently nothing good can come out of that aluminum space ship balloon–especially not a red carpet gown.

2 Chainz, the rapper, stole the red carpet shine from everyone as far as the worst dressed list goes. The “Birthday Song” star showed up to the red carpet dressed as the hardest level on Tetris, and that’s just inexcusable.

Lil Mama did nothing right at the AMAs. Matching her green hair with a black and green dress, unfortunately, was just the beginning of her bad decisions of the night. The strange gown was nothing compared to Lil Mama’s performance with the surviving members of TLC, which sent Twitter into a huge frenzy with people accusing Lil Mama of not remembering the words, executing the wrong dance moves and having the audacity to stretch her “Left Eye” role to a live performance.

Miley Cyrus, believe it or not, actually put away the costumes and saved her big reveal for the stage instead of prancing down the red carpet in a bizarre outfit. Her simple white blazer and pant combination almost made us forgive her for all her strange antics–until she performed “Wrecking Ball” in a cat bikini with a strange singing cat graphic in the back.

Naya Rivera shot to the top of the red carpet fashion totem pole.  Kerry Washington’s pregnancy left the role as queen of the red carpet open, and Naya stepped into it.  The “Glee” actress stepped out in a stunning black gown with a flowing train and kept her accessories to a minimum for a timeless, yet sexy look.

Ciara had a lot of people on the fence about her red carpet look and whether or not she took the see through panel trend way too far. At the 2013 AMAs Rihanna was the social media standout of the evening. While her outfit was actually pretty trendy from the neck down, hitting the stage with her hair wrapped wasn’t excused by Planet Instagram or the Twitterverse just because she used diamond pins to secure it.

‘M.J. Killed M.J.,” Conrad Murray Says On Michael Jackson Death

Conrad Murray, the doctor convicted as being responsible for Michael Jackson’s death after filling the pop icon’s request for prescription drugs, said Jackson was responsible for his own death in his first comments to the Daily Mail since being released from prison.
Murray, released from prison three weeks ago after serving two years of a four-year sentence, painted a graphic picture of how close he was to Jackson, who died June 25, 2009. “You want to know how close we were?” he said to the United Kingdom newspaper. “I held his penis every night to fit a catheter because he was incontinent at night.”
Murray reiterated as he has all along: He was not responsible for Jackson’s death.
“I did not kill Michael Jackson,” he said. “He was a drug addict. Michael Jackson accidentally killed Michael Jackson.”
Murray also painted a sad portrait of Jackson’s life.
“He was in crisis at the end of his life, filled with panic and misery,” Murray said. “By the end, Michael Jackson was a broken man. I tried to protect him, but instead I was brought down with him.”
A life of fame and a cult-like following also caused Jackson to have extremely bizarre paranoia, Murray said to The Mail. He said the “Thriller” singer wouldn’t let his underwear be cleaned because he was afraid the maids would try to sell it.
He added that Jackson already had his own stash of potentially lethal drugs before Murray began working with him.
“He told me there were doctors in Germany that gave [propofol] to him,” Murray said. “I didn’t agree with this at all, but Michael wasn’t the kind of man you can say no to. He would always find a way.”
Murray claims that he did his best to wean M.J. off of the drug that he used to help him sleep, but only a few days before his death he began begging for doses of propofol again and claiming he couldn’t sleep without it.
While that wasn’t necessarily his addiction, it was the first sign to Murray had that the problem was much worse than he anticipated, he said. The doctor said Jackson’s 5-foot-11 frame had wasted to wasted away and that he was suffering from chills, insomnia and mood swings and he was dependent on the prescription drug propofol to help him sleep.
“Michael was not addicted to propofol, but I’ve since discovered he was addicted to other drugs, given to him by other doctors and which I was not aware of,” Murray claimed.
He also said the singer had told him shortly before his death that their names would become ‘inseparable.’ When Murray asked him what he meant, he said Jackson “smiled and said: ‘I am clairvoyant.’ “
Through it all, Murray insisted that all he wanted to do was “help [his] friend” and that his passing was just as hard for him as it was for anyone else.

Miley Cyrus B-Day Burglary Victim

Miley Cyrus was given the worst birthday gift ever this weekend ... her house was broken into and her stuff got jacked.

The break-in occurred Friday afternoon in Studio City - one day before her b-day - when the thief somehow gained access to Miley's pad ... and made off with some jewelry.

It's unclear how the crook (or crooks) got inside the house ... but cops say they're currently investigating how it all went down.

Thankfully Miley wasn't home when the break-in happened -- and neither was anybody else.
