Ke$ha In Rehab For Eating Disorder

Ke$ha has gone to rehab for an eating disorder ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to the singer tell TMZ ... she's at Timberline Knolls near Chicago, the same place Demi Lovato went for her issues. 

We're told the singer -- who's a vegetarian -- was admitted early this morning.


Ke$ha tells TMZ, "I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I've found it hard to practice.  I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder ... to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am."

Ludacris' baby mama revealed, turns out she's an old friend

Despite being engaged to longtime girlfriend Eudoxie, it didn't stop Ludacris from getting another woman pregnant. It's been revealed that the new baby mama is Luda's old friend and former flame.

According to reports, Luda and Tameka Fuller (pictured left), were class mates at Benjamin Banneker High School in Atlanta. They dated briefly back then and kept in touch over the years. Ludacris and Tameka welcomed a daughter, Cai Bella Bridges, on December 9th. Eudoxie is still with him.

Ludacris also fathers a child with a woman that is not his fiancee

What is wrong with these men, don't they use condoms? DWade is not the only male celeb to father a child while in a longtime relationship, rapper Ludacris also did.

Ludacris, who is engaged to longtime girlfriend Eudoxie (pictured with him above), just welcomed a daughter with an Atlanta groupie named Tamika Fuller.

According to TMZ, Ludacris just filed court docs to legally establish paternity for Cai Bella Bridges, born Dec. 9th, and to set a limit on the amount of child support that can be awarded to his baby mama

Ludacris is claiming he earns only $25,842.41 a month which would limit child support to $1,754.66 a month under Georgia law. What about his Fast & Furious paycheck? Don't lie, Luda!

Actor James Avery Died at 65: He Dies in L.A. Hospital

Popular Actor James Avery has died at the age of 65. The actor best known for playing Uncle Philip Banks on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air -- died at an L.A. hospital on Tuesday, Dec. 31.


According to TMZ......

Avery recently underwent a surgery for an undisclosed illness. His wife, Barbara Avery, was at the hospital at the time of his death.


Avery starred in Fresh Prince with Will Smith from 1990 to 1996. Shortly after his passing, his onscreen son, Alfonso Ribeiro, addressed about the loss via Twitter.


"I'm deeply saddened to say that James Avery has passed away. He was a second father to me. I will miss him greatly," the 42-year-old wrote, also sharing a picture of Avery with his wife.

Rapper Eve's longtime boyfriend, fashion designer Maximilion Cooper proposed to her on Christmas Day, according to a report by E Online.

"The rapper-actress, 35, is engaged to British designer and Gumball 3000 founder Maximillion Cooper, E! News exclusively confirms.

Eve's rep tells us that Cooper popped the question on Christmas Day, the sparkly evidence of which was first spied on Instagram in a photo in which she's surrounded by family—and flashing a diamond ring!"

@Beyonce Bashed for Sampling NASA Crash; Singer Releases Part 4 of Documentary

According to the Hollywood Reporter, former NASA astronauts and their family members are calling Beyonce ”insensitive” for using audio from the space shuttle Challenger explosion in her new song, “XO.”The Challenger space shuttle exploded shortly after liftoff in 1986, and all seven crew members aboard were killed.

“Flight controllers here looking very carefully at the situation. Obviously a major malfunction,” then-NASA public affairs officer Steve Nesbitt said as the tragedy occurred. He’s heard during a six-second audio clip that’s now at the beginning of “XO,” which is about a troubled relationship.

Family members, current and former NASA astronauts told ABC News that they were disappointed that Beyonce used a sample from such a tragic event. They called her choice “insensitive.” June Scobee Rodgers, the widow of Challenger space shuttle commander Dick Scobee, told ABC:
“We were disappointed to learn that an audio clip from the day we lost our heroic Challenger crew was used in the song ‘XO.’ The moment included in this song is an emotionally difficult one for the Challenger families, colleagues and friends. We have always chosen to focus not on how our loved ones were lost, but rather on how they lived and how their legacy lives on today.”
In a statement released to ABC News, Beyonce expressed her sympathies for the families of those who died in the Challenger disaster and indicated she didn’t mean any offense by using the audio.
“My heart goes out to the families of those lost in the Challenger disaster. The song ‘XO’ was recorded with the sincerest intention to help heal those who have lost loved ones and to remind us that unexpected things happen, so love and appreciate every minute that you have with those who mean the most to you,” she said. “The songwriters included the audio in tribute to the unselfish work of the Challenger crew with hope that they will never be forgotten.”
Beyonce has also released part 4 of her documentary for her self-titled album ‘Beyonce’. In this part of the documentary, Beyonce talks about being embarrassed when recording her song ‘Partition’, saying she hadn’t even played the sexually driven song for her mother. She also talks about working hard to regain her body after reaching about 190 pounds during her pregnancy.

Jay Z Raps About Barneys Controversy on Rick Ross’ ‘Devil is a Lie’

Jay Z hopped on Rick Ross’ new single “Devil is a Lie” and praised himself for the way he handled the Barneys racial profiling controversy earlier this year.
The hip-hop mogul was heavily criticized for not breaking ties with Barneys New York after a string of racial profiling incidences were exposed in October. But he’s now using his music to further explain the impact he believes he has had by staying with Barneys instead of walking away.
Rick Ross’ “Devil is a Lie” dropped earlier this month and Jay Z took the opportunity to give himself a little pat on the back for the way he handled the controversy.
“See what I did to the stop and frisk,” he raps on the song. “Brooklyn on the Barneys like we own the b***h/ Give the money to the hood, now we all win/ Got that Barneys floor looking like a V.I.M.”
V.I.M is a popular sneaker and jeans retailer in Brooklyn that Jay Z is using in the song to represent the retail market for African-American consumers, rather than the mostly white demographic that has made up the bulk of Barneys customers.
The verse pretty much echoes the sentiments that Jay Z expressed when he published an open letter on his website to explain his stance on the Barneys controversy back in November.
“The easy position would have been to walk away and leave policy making to others, hoping that someone addresses the problem,” Jay Z wrote in the open letter. “I will not leave the outcome to others. I will take this into my own hands with full power to recommend, review and revise policies and guidelines moving forward. I am choosing to take this head-on.”
The controversy sparked after at least two African-American shoppers at Barneys were stopped and searched after making legitimate purchases from the high-end retailer.
One shopper, Trayon Christian, purchased a $349 Ferragamo belt before he was arrested and held in jail cell for more than two hours because undercover NYPD officers accused him of shoplifting.
“The detectives were asking me ‘How could you afford a belt like this? Where did you get this money from,’ “ Christian told the New York Daily News.
Another African-American shopper, 21-year-old Kayla Phillips, was also approached by police officers after she purchased a $2,500 handbag from the store and was accused of committing credit card fraud.
“There were three men and a woman,” Phillips said of the forceful arrest. “Two of them attacked me and pushed me against a wall, and the other two appeared in front of me, blocking the turnstile.”
Both Phillips and Christian are suing Barneys New York.

Good Deeds: E-40 Donates $10,000 to Salvation Army

Hip-hop artist E-40 has donated $10,000 to The Salvation Army and has opened up about the great impact the foundation had on him as a child.
E-40, whose real name is Earl Stevens, explained that the Salvation Army in his hometown of Vallejo, Calif., will always be one of the first places to benefit from his charitable work.
“My mother and father divorced when I was [8],” he said. “They did what they could do. When times got heavy, me and mom had to come over here [to the Salvation Army]…I knew I had to come out to my soil. I’m trying to give back.”
While the hip-hop star is being praised for his good deeds, he pointed out that he is just doing his part to help his community.
“I’m no better than anyone else,” he said. “I’m just playing my part. I can’t save the world, but I do what I can to save my community.”
E-40 isn’t the only hip-hop star who has been giving back to the community lately.
Rich Homie Quan, B.o.B, Young Dro, Trinidad James and Travis Porter were just a few of the hip-hop stars that came together for the Fourth Annual Street Execs Christmas Concert on Dec. 23 in Atlanta to collect presents for needy children.
Future and Ciara attended another holiday charity event in Atlanta where they came with jackets and gifts for all the children in attendance while T.I. teamed with Young Jeezy at the “Tis the Season for Giving” event and gave out presents to more than 1,800 children for Christmas.
The Game and Drake put their money together to give $20,000 to Ana Angel, an Ohio woman who lost her five children and boyfriend in a tragic house fire in September.
Back in November even rapper Big Sean was in the giving spirit as he joined Mike Epps to give turkeys out to families in Detroit for Thanksgiving.Twista and Lupe Fiasco also handed out 100 free turkeys at Exclusive773’s turkey drive in Chicago.
While the hip-hop industry saw some interesting beefs and rap feuds this year, none of the hip-hop stars let the drama get in the way of giving back.

'Devils Ride' Star White Boi Shoots Sex Tape With 3 Chicks

Jay Z Possibly Losing Credibility With Fans, While Cash Money Copies Sports Agency Move

 

Jay Z is still one of the wealthiest faces of hip-hop but millennial fans feel the rapper is lacking honesty and overall credibility as he continues to expand his empire, according to a report by a marketing strategist. Meanwhile, Cash Money Records is copying Jay Z’s latest creation, a sports agency, and plan to launch their own next year.
When Jay Z entered the hip-hop industry he was more than just another rapper, he became an example of upward mobility after he climbed the entrepreneurial ladder to become the worldwide mogul he is today.
However, according to a recent survey conducted by celebrity branding expert Jeetendr Sehdev, his millennial fans feel that the “Tom Ford” rapper has started to forget  his humble beginnings and has lost authenticity in his music.
Sehdev surveyed over 1,000 millennials and discovered that Jay Z ranked relatively low in area of trustworthiness and honesty compared to other popular celebrities.
Jay Z “scored 70 percent lower in the categories of trustworthiness and honesty than did celebrities like actors Morgan Freeman and Jennifer Lawrence,” Sehdev said.
Sehdev said that his research revealed that Jay Z’s image has become one of pursuing money and business ventures “seemingly however he can.”
“Millennials question his approach to loyalty, whether it be to a business deal or his fans,” Sehdev said. “His motivations to just make money can be viewed by this audience as self-centered, even if they may be business savvy.”
One stand out example was when fans begged Jay Z to cut ties with Barneys New York after the luxury retailer was accused of racial profiling. The hip-hop mogul refused to back down from the deal.
Sehdev also revealed that the random sample who were surveyed were not even sure if Jay Z is involved with his music anymore.
“Millennials question the exact nature of Jay Z’s role in the artistic process,” Sehdev said. “Does he really write his own songs? Is he choosing the artists to collaborate with, or is he just the face of a moneymaking empire?”
Jay Z’s move to launch a sports agency didn’t help his reputation with Millennials either, as many of his fans felt that it was a move made out of a desire for more money rather passion.
It’s also important to note, however, that 1,000 people is a relatively small sample compared to the staggering number of fans Jay Z has obtained globally.
Despite seeing how risky launching a sports agency from a music label can be, Cash Money Records plans to copy Jay Z and launch their own agency in 2014.
The New Orleans based music label has reportedly trademarked the name Visionaire Sports Group and has aligned the group with the Mississippi-based agency Play 2 Win Sports, Inc.
So far there is no evidence that any artists within the label have taken the necessary steps to become certified sports agents, which is a formality that almost landed Jay Z in hot water when he first launched his Roc Nation sports agency earlier this year.

‘Motown: The Musical’ Actress Valisia LeKae Opens Up About Cancer Battle

Earlier this year, Valisia LeKae made a splash on The Great White Way in what many thought was to be  the role of her lifetime as Diana Ross in Motown The Musical. A little over six months after the Berry Gordy-produced show became one of Broadway’s biggest box-office hits of 2013, the Tony Award-nominated performer discovered she has ovarian cancer.
Last week, LeKae, who’s been on leave from the Charles Randolph-Wright-helmed tuner since August, shocked the theatre community when she made her official withdrawal from the show and revealed her diagnosis via Facebook.
“As a 34 year old, African-American woman, I feel that it is important that I share my story in order to educate and encourage others about this disease and the fight against it,” she wrote. “God has given me another role to play and like all my previous roles, I plan to go all in, only this time I plan to win!”
“I don’t think it’s nothing that anybody else in my position wouldn’t have done,” LeKae told Playbill.com about making the brave and very public announcement. “It’s just another way for me to use my voice and be an advocate for this disease that I have now. I wanted to talk about it. I just wanted people to be aware.”
The day before the declaration, LeKae — whose Broadway credits include The Book of Mormon and Ragtime — had surgery (unilateral salpingo-oophorectomy) for clear cell carcinoma of the ovary, performed by the highly sought-after Dr. David Fishman at New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital.
“Her cancer is associated with genetic inherited cancers, yet she has no family history,” Fishman said, adding that the cancer can be very aggressive and survival can range from 40 to 90 percent. “She required an operation and will need six rounds of chemotherapy.”
According to LeKae, there weren’t any symptoms or anything alarming to make her think she had the disease — outside of what she chalked up to being related to women’s wellness: “Being a woman, we face menstrual issues every month, and I’ve had reflux and all that other stuff for a while, but nothing that would make me think that I had ovarian cancer. So long story short, no, I wasn’t feeling anything. I went to have my checkup and I had a cyst, and that was the only thing we saw in the sonogram.”

Charlie Sheen Victim Says Sex Tape Exists And She Can Prove It

The woman who claims 4 of her computers were stolen because the burglars were targeting a Charlie Sheen sex tape has told cops ... she can prove the tape exists because she now has a copy.

Christina Fulton -- Nic Cage's baby mama -- triggered the investigation by reporting the theft, but cops never found the computers or the sex tape.  Nonetheless, Christina's former handyman, Ricardo Orozco, has been arrested and charged with the burglary.  Two other people who were on scene were  cleared by the D.A. because there wasn't enough solid proof to mount a solid case ... something that has pissed off cops.

But now Christina says she has solid proof -- a copy of the tape and she has told cops she will fork it over next week.

The tape could be critical evidence ...As we first reported Orozco and the other 2 went to the office of Charlie's lawyer shortly after the burglary ... asking what they would pay for the tape.  If cops determine the tape did indeed exist and can link it to Christina's computer, it could be a smoking gun in the criminal case.  And it's possible the D.A. could take another look at the other two alleged accomplices.

The Game I'm a Pot-Smokin' Tax Fraud!

Writing off medical marijuana is totally legit ... so claims The Game -- problem is he's wrong ... and the IRS says its AGAINST THE LAW!

Game was at the Nokia Theater Saturday night in L.A. when he schooled our photog about writing off medical sticky icky.

Here's the rub ... according to the IRS, "You cannot include in medical expenses amounts you pay for controlled substances (such as marijuana, laetrile, etc.). Such substances may be legalized by state law. However, they are in violation of federal law and cannot be included in medical expenses."

Game needs a little H&R Block.
