Beyoncé and her husband Jay Z are confirmed to be performers at the 2014 Grammy awards.
The New York Daily News reported that CBS aired a commercial on
Sunday listing the show’s performers; Jay and Bey were among them.
Although they were listed as separate acts, a source told Us
Magazine that they will hit the stage together. Perhaps they’ll do a
live rendition of Beyonce’s big hit “Drunk in Love” from her newest
album
“Beyonce”, but there’s no confirmation of this yet.
The Grammy Awards broadcast is one of television’s major broadcast
events, ranking as one of the highest-rated and most-watched
specials. This year’s Grammy Awards will air Sunday, Jan. 26 on CBS.
Other confirmed performances include: Daft Punk, Nile Rodgers, Pharrell
Williams and Stevie Wonder, Imagine Dragons, Katy Perry, Kendrick Lamar,
Lorde, Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Blake
Shelton, Metallica and Lang Lang, Pink and Nate Ruess, Robin Thicke and
Chicago, Taylor Swift, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, John Legend, Kacey
Musgraves, Keith Urban, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, Sara Bareilles
and Carole King, Bruno Mars, and finally Hunter Hayes.
Us Magazine is also reporting that Madonna will hit the stage during this year’s Grammys.
