There was a lot of speculation last week when Nick Cannon announced that he was managing Amber Rose. Well according to a close friend of Amber Rose - it ain't just speculation. According to a very reliable insider, Amber is separating with her longtime husband Wiz Khalifah. And that separation is caused, at least in part, by the fact that she's fallen for Nick Cannon.
The insider told MediaTakeOut.com EXCLUSIVELY, "Amber has had a crush on Nick since forever. He was like a mentor to her, and I think she fell in love." But the insider claims that NOTHING ever came of it while Nick was married to Mariah. The insider explained, "Nick was faithful to Mariah, and Amber was with Wiz so nothing came out of it. Then Amber got pregnant and the two just ind of drifted apart. . . . But when Nick [and Mariah] broke up, they connected." MediaTakeOut.com reported LAST MONTH that Wiz and Amber's marriage was in SHAMBLES - so much so that Wiz went on TWITTER to blast his wife. The insider added, "I think Amber is ready to move on with her life. And Nick is the man she wants to move on with." Amber was spotted out yesterday WITHOUT her wedding ring. We have to say it - as SAD AS IT IS TO HEAR ABOUT THEIR MARRIAGE FAILING - we LOVE the idea of Nick and Amber together. Sorry but Wiz Khalifah's career is on the DOWN SIDE. Lindsay Lohan made 'em laugh during her first performance of David Mamet's legendary play "Speed-the-Plow" in London ... problem is, it wasn't supposed to be funny.
Lohan was a disaster ... unprepared, nervous and flubbing lines left and right. According to several accounts ... people backstage were feeding Lindsay her lines. Even more obvious ... she carried a prop book with her dialogue and repeatedly consulted it.The theater was reportedly only half full. If you're gonna throw the book at Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams for stealing music ... you gotta take down none other than Ludwig van Beethoven too -- that's Robin and Pharrell's argument anyway. The "Blurred Lines" duo just filed new court docs in their fight to prove the song is not a rip-off of Marvin Gaye's, "Got to Give It Up" -- pointing out several differences between notes in the songs ... and also backing up the bus over LvB. In the docs, they admit 'Blurred' starts with repeated notes, just like Marvin's song does -- but also like Beethoven does in his famous 5th Symphony. All together now ... da-da-da-dum!Their point -- musicians have been using repeating tones since the dawn of time ... or at least since 200 years ago when Beethoven was doing his thing. They also say 'Blurred' is more similar to the '60s song,
"Working In a Coal Mine" ... than it is to 'Give It Up.'" Countdown to Allen Toussaint's lawsuit.
