Chris Brown (Splash News)Chris Brown is on the disabled list!
Stepping out for the first time since his reported brawl with Frank Ocean, the 23-year-old was sporting a cast … on his punching hand. The “Nobody’s Perfect” singer was seen with his new accessory as he exited his Hollywood apartment building on Tuesday and hopped in the passenger seat of a waiting car.

Brown hasn’t spoken out directly about Sunday’s throw down with fellow R&B singer Ocean at the Westlake Recording Studio, but he is being investigated for assault, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. Ocean also fingered him as the guilty party in the case, tweeting to his fans, “Got jumped by chris and a couple guys.”
If Brown’s hand injury occurred during the battle royale – which was over a parking spot, according to TMZ – it wasn’t the only injury sustained during the drama. Ocean also tweeted that he cut his finger during the melee and “can't play w two hands at the Grammys."

Brown didn’t mention anything about his hand injury on Monday when he posted a photo of artwork to Instagram depicting Jesus on the cross and wrote, "Painting the way I feel today. Focus on what matters!"
Perhaps he paints with his left hand?

(Splash News)The painting – and the purported symbolism that he is being crucified in the press over the Ocean fight – caused a big stir on the Web, prompting Brown, who faces a probation violation in addition to new assault charges, to change the settings of his Instagram account from public to private. But not before posting a final message bashing social media.
"Social media takes away the essence of why we are even special or icons. So with that, I'm detaching myself from that world," the message said.
Brown is surely receiving some TLC from his on-again girlfriend Rihanna. In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the Barbadian beauty boldly declares her love for Brown, who brutally attacked her nearly four years ago, and says she doesn’t care about public opinion when it comes to their relationship.
“I decided it was more important for me to be happy," Rihanna, 24, told the magazine. "I wasn't going to let anybody's opinion get in the way of that. Even if it's a mistake, it's my mistake. ...After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I'd rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”
