"My Prerogative" singer Bobby Brown is not doing things his way right now.
The 44-year-old reported to court on Wednesday to begin serving his sentence of 55 days in jail for a DUI charge that he pleaded no contest to back in February following an October arrest. The Los Angeles Times reports that Brown is likely to serve no more than nine days in county jail, because of jail overcrowding and other factors.
The sentence also requires Brown to serve four years of informal probation, complete an 18-month program on alcohol treatment, and attend three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week.
The former Mr. Whitney Houston has been charged with two DUIs in the past: one in 2012, and one in 1996.
