Demi Lovato, Hayley Williams, Miley Cyrus And More Are Best Dressed At The 2013 Teen Choice Awards

Oh, red carpet. With the exception of the occasional summer blockbuster premiere, these warmer months are generally devoid of step-and-repeat steez. Luckily, come August, there's always the Teen Choice Awards (and of course, our own VMAs later this month #shamelessplug). The 2013 TCAs certainly didn't let us down in the well-dressed PYT department, and even though it was pretty much impossible, we did our best to whittle it down to the top looks of the night from Demi Lovato to Hailee Steinfeld and everyone in between.
DEMI LOVATO

Lovatics were treated to two Demi outfits as didn't just attend but also hit the stage to perform her single, "Made In The USA." On the carpet, D wore a black satin brocade blazer (which was swapped out for a leather jacket on stage), relaxed fit white tee, leather leggings, and black platform booties. Angling for a rock edge, the look was finished with layered silver necklaces, heavy smoky eyeliner, and a dramatic half-up half-down 'do with a high pompadour.
HAYLEY WILLIAMS

Paramore's Hayley Williams debuted a brand new haircut at this year's TCAs: a blunt, lip-length bob with parted bangs and in her signature electric orange hue. A kind of neon flapper/punky Louise Brooks look, Hayley's outfit toed the line between both aesthetics. Heavy eye makeup was balanced with a classic mauve lip, a black leather pencil skirt and cropped tube top were streamlined into the classic '20s shift shape with the addition of a white leather harness top. And of course, the finishing touch was a pair of the studded strap Valentino pumps.
MILEY CYRUS IN SAINT LAURENT

Also channeling high fashion punk at the TCAs was the night's Candie's Fashion Trendsetter honoree Miley Cyrus. Miles didn't walk the carpet but did still turn up the fashion volume with this Saint Laurent Fall 2013 ensemble: a black leather bikini top, sheer collared shirt, and high-waisted black leather mini composed of stacked, grommeted belts.
SELENA GOMEZ IN CUSHNIE ET OCHS

Less punk but still edgy, Selena Gomez attended the 2013 Teen Choice Awards in an evergreen Cushnie et Ochs dress from the duo's Fall 2013 collection. The minimalist chic number features darted cut-outs on the shoulders and two daring thigh-high slits, but it should be noted that Sel and her team altered the dress to make it slightly more conservative for the youth-oriented show. Selena kept the look sleek with stick-straight hair, simple drop earrings, and nude lace pumps.
CRYSTAL REED

Our Teen Wolf girl Crystal Reed was a step-and-repeat stunner in this black-and-white head-to-toe print (a variation on houndstooth). We love her polished co-ordinates look from her accent red pout to her oversized white box clutch and her pointed gunmetal pumps. Well played, Reed.
NINA DOBREV IN J. MENDEL

Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev also went for a matching printed top and bottoms set with this satin, floral J. Mendel tank top and slim fit trousers pairing. Worn with an expertly disheveled ponytail, bright poppy clutch, and delicately strappy sandals, this is the perfect summer red carpet ensemble.
HAILEE STEINFELD IN HOUSE OF HOLLAND

Leave it to Hailee Steinfeld to prove that high fashion looks can be a lot of fun. This red and navy House of Holland number is fashion forward without taking itself too seriously (how can you with a print splattered with spiky bursts?). Hailee's hair is effortlessly polished and especially love the commitment to color palette happening with her smoky navy makeup, red fingernail polish and navy toenail polish. #attentiontodetails
CHLOE GRACE MORETZ IN CHRISTOPHER KANE

Kick Ass star Chloe Grace Moretz also went for graphic primary colors, but unlike Hailee's conservative midi hemline and high cowl neck, Moretz opted for a flirty Christopher Kane off-the-shoulder neckline and bodycon silhouette hitting just above the knee. The perfect balance of stunning and age-appropriate.
BELLA THORNE IN FAUSTO PUGLISI

Being that the Teen Choice Awards hand out full-size surfboards as awards, a little tropical style leaning is only appropriate. We love Bella Thorne's blush and navy Fausto Puglisi co-ordinates set printed with silhouetted palm trees. The composition, the color palette, the contrast sleeves, the oversized envelope clutch, and that tiny French braid along her right temple all really sell the look for us.

Thorne wasn't the only one in Puglisi's festive print. Lily Collins also wore a dress from the palm tree-boasting collection but took a decidedly dressier approach than Bella. Collins opted for a structured tee top with a voluminous baby pink and black skirt with a high-low hem and a train. A dramatic look already, she styled it with subtle round-toe pumps, a bare face save a sharp, clean, cat eye and her signature eyebrows, and a neat updo.
