According to Selena Gomez, yes. The "Come & Get It" singer told Ryan Seacrest in an E! special airing this Sunday
that after she parted ways with the Biebs in November, it was difficult
to deal with their breakup under the prying eyes of the press."Was there a point where it was almost unbearable?" Seacrest questioned. "Yeah. I'm sure you could actually see those pictures of me being, like, way stressed out about it," Gomez dished. "And it's hard, because what do you do? Do you just wanna sit in your house and hide and not go anywhere?"
The "Spring Breakers" star didn't spend too much time crying in her Kleenex at home. Instead, she leaned on her A-list pals like Taylor Swift for support and started working on her new album "Stars Dance," which hits shelves July 23.
Nonetheless, their very public
split peppered news headlines for weeks. In May, the former Disney
darling told InStyle Magazine, "It's uncomfortable that everywhere I go,
people know. I don't like that. But Justin
and I never really focused on the attention. You can't help who you
date. So I wouldn't swear off that or say that's what I want again. I
don't know. I'm a kid, and a breakup is normal. I have to go through the
emotions and feel it out."
