Beyonce loses curves in offensive sketch
Beyonce Sketch: Queen Bey is known for her voluptuous, healthy curves but that didn’t stop fashion designer Roberto Cavalli from eliminating her hourglass figure in his latest fashion sketch of the R&B superstar. Meanwhile, Beyonce is expected to rake in millions from Mrs. Carter World Tour ticket sales alone.
When Bey famously sang, “I don’t think you ready for this jelly cause my body’s too bootylicious for ya babe,” fashion designer Roberto Cavalli seemed to agree – so he wiped those curves out.
In a recent press release that was went out on Tuesday the 31-year-old mother of one was sketched modeling the jaw dropping Cavalli down, but all her hips, thighs, and any other meat on her bones was obviously missing and fans were outraged.
Not only is she a lot less curvy than usual in the sketch, she’s down right puny and looks sickeningly thin.

While the press release did also include photos of the real Queen Bey rocking the dress on stage – with her body being unaltered – that wasn’t enough to keep fans from expressing their anger.
“Why would you do such a sketch that clearly doesn’t reflect her shape?,” one user commented when they saw the thin drawing.
Another person wrote, “I really don’t get why brands force women to follow certain kind of body shapes that most people find unattractive.”
It’s obvious that the picture isn’t supposed to be a real depiction of Baddie Bey, but one fan expressed that that is exactly what makes the drawing all the more ridiculous.
Beyonce too bootylicious for Roberto Cavalli fashion sketch
“If this is supposed to be a sketch of Beyonce why not actually draw Beyonce instead of some imaginative image which fits the status quo for sickly looking runway models,” they asked. “She is absolutely just the way she is, not as she’s represented in that sketch.”
The thin sketch is a shock considering Jay-Z’s wife just had it out with H&M after they tried to eliminate some of her curves in their bikini ads.
So what does the famous fashion designer have to say about all this?
On his Facebook page he explained that he loves women of all shapes and sizes and he didn’t mean for the sketch to offend anyone.
“Dear Fans, We would like to clarify that the image of the gown created by Roberto Cavalli for Beyonce is a sketch and not a photo, and therefore it is only meant to be a stylized and artistic vision,” the Facebook post read. “Robert Cavalli loves women and more than anyone else has always exalted and highlighted the female shape with his creations, building his signature style on the glorification of sensuality and femininity.”
Roberto Cavalli fashion sketch sparks debate on Twitter
People weren’t satisfied with the explanation however and Twitter continued to explode.
“So you decide to edit out all of Beyonces’s curves???” One fan tweeted in disgust.
@Hollybrocks gave a rather sarcastic award to the fashion designer tweeting, “And the award for worst Photoshop job of ALL TIME goes to Roberto Cavalli for Beyonce’s legs.”
Dan English pointed out that whether it’s a sketch or a photo the depiction of the “Grown Woman” songstress was just all bad.
“This is a disgusting depiction of Beyonce, whether it’s a sketch or not,” English tweeted.
Meanwhile, Bey has had other things on her mind – and a fat million dollar pay check is one of them.

The Mrs. Carter World Tour is bringing in major bank and is expected to add another several million bucks to her bank account off of ticket sales alone.
In other words, the millions pouring in doesn’t even include the money she’s sure to make off of selling apparel, her deal with Rent the Runway, the H&M bikinis, or all the other business ventures that have been linked to the world tour.
Three shows in Manchester alone pulled in an astounding $4.65 million and with 65 total stops, you can only imagine how much bank she’s about to make.
Way to go Queen Bey.
